Fun Fact: Durin can dodge the damage the Sarkaz casters give. (damage from red ropes but not the red ropes itself)

You know, it never occurred to me to just wait for DP and drop everyone at once. I wound up with some silly stuff where Yato coming off cooldown half a second later would have ruined the run. 2* gang forever

yep the point of the stage is to use Durin as bait to the arts drone because she's the only one with RES.. the only way is to put her last among the ranged unit, and put her at the center.. my mistakes is i put Durin at the top facing down and Ranger at the middle, so even if Durin placed last, she still share the damage with Ranger because she's out of range from the drones in the below

I thought I was doing something wrong but no, I just kept losing the arts dodge coin flip twelve tries in a row, disappointed that when looking it up (because clearly I was missing something) I am already doing this exact strategy. Three more tries of doing the same thing, the dodges finally work. Rng is just so awesome. Love it.

For a random 2-star, this is one of the harder "puzzles" to figure out. I appreciate the guide, lol.

I like this simulation, there so many way to clear it, just have to manage your deployment timing and dp at the start a bit

You can also catch the red ropes with Yato, instead of Noir, and just proceed the same. Timed really well for dropping Yato in at the end, too.

It's interesting to see just how many different solutions there are to this puzzle. Me and a friend had very different placements of our ops, although (after getting thrown for a loop with the unexpected Sarkaz Caster), a lot of common elements appeared; e.g. Durin on the central pedestal, Yato to take the Sarkaz Caster's bind, etc etc.

I was *so* close to solving this one. I had the central formation right, but I hadn't realised that putting Noir there after Durin was placed would split the arts damage as the drones circles to best use Ansel's trait (and a bigger health pool before they drop someone). Literally the only thing I was missing was the timing of placing down Noir.

Thank you for the guide. At 1:38 when red line appear on the floor, I placed Yato on right side of platform, retreat after red line fired. Less chasing after enemy. :)

This has so many clears. Some of them involve Ansel in the back or Rangers in the back. I had a silly one with Ansel facing backward, but he got blasted in the center, so it took a solid minute to kill the caster with just Durin and Yato...

I've cleared the stage before watching this video, turns out this run is much simplier and stable, my run was deploy ranger first at the last tile, then deploy noir and yato before ansel and also i use durin herself to bait the caster and drones lol making it rng based run

I had rangers facing down with Ansel in the back. I actually retreated Durin as soon as the first round of arts masters was dead so I could redeploy her later to fix the deployment order.

I finished this paradox before watching this.. but the strat I did was put rangers in the left and then tank some fire and bait them by deploying the others.. it took me a lot of brain cells to finish this paradox
