Additional advice: 1. To train them in the early game, use the varangian axe and the taiga shotgun to train them. Best early game melee if you fail to get the quasimorph weapons are: varangian, hawk, machetes Also equip them with the strongest armor you can get so they don't die in one shot. 2. Equip them with servo backpack to reduce weight by 50% which allows you to equip full tier 2 armor without much penalty. The downside is that it is not designed for loot hoarding, that will be tunnel rats. 3. Suitable for conquest contracts, but horrible for defense contracts

In early game, I skip out on a shotgun and just bring another knife. Saves space and you can one shot almost all enemies just by throwing a knife. Also saves on ammo cause you can just pick it back up after you kill someone

Tells about `baron farming class`, presents `cannibalism` with `+45% melee`, kills baron with ranged plasma generator. I'd love to see a run against many wheelchairs or SBN / Realware elite units with your character wielding only melee weapons.

I think the only way to beat wheelchairs in meele is by luring them into a door which would allow you to fight them 1 at a time. Or you could also use Maximillians perk in combination with Cerberus armour to avoid getting stun locked. There are ways.

@@timoleksii Because the class sucks in the current game balance, and melee in general underperforms. He kinda admits that at the end of the vid but I can't bash him for trying to present the best way to use the class.

No, let me sleeeeep pleeeeease!! I'd ditch the gun in the off hand, and take another melee weapon, so you could have one cut type and one blunt type. Another advantage to melee weapons is that you don't need ammo, which means you don't have to carry ammo. Yay.

Does reflex actually work for eclipse blade? For scout of hades theres a buff icon that shows up but i dont see it for eclipse.

i am stuck on the tunnel rats sinkhole and I cant get out

It's not your fault the game has both the obvious best way to progress resource wise and easiest way to play most missions both wrapped up into one class. The game needs balancing badly, I enjoy it still but basically only use 2 mercs, Percy and the lady with +2 range, and 2 classes, Scouts of Hades on Percy for the bodybuilding HP and Tunnel Rat on the +2 range merc (forget her name). I also have the dude with +4 inventory space if I really needed to hoard loot but the tunnel rat shotgun damage perk + extra range on the shotgun from the +2 range lady is just so OP, most mobs die without even catching the full pellet spread. Most recent update added three new mercs and classes that just flat out aren't getting used by most players because the game meta is just Tunnel Rat + Jeffhammer or whatever semi auto shotgun you can get the chip for and start upgrading. Ik it's early access but I think balancing should be higher up on the list of priorities atm if the Devs really want these new classes and mercs to get used.

unfortunately melee isj ust not very good atm, problem is that even with good dodge chance you end up either getting damaged too much or having to wait a lot of time behind the doors, I think melee should be reworked, I`d say the main problem is sprinting and weight, If devs would add ability to "drop" backpack to decrease weight and add bonus dodge % when sprinting melee would become better, but as of now its not worth it.

Yeah it's just trash except for early game mob bashing or baron farming. 3 New classes and mercs in recent update that aren't getting used at all because the meta is just Tunnel Rats + upgraded shotguns
