He may think they have a vested interest in stopping him, in which case they could need a distraction to keep them away. What better distraction then the person almost everyone hates? And that's making sure everyone knows he's after the person that everyone wants to protect. Furthermore, what if eclipse is a part of that multi dimensional star? He absorbed the star once. What if evil sun is running a test run. Wanting the subject to be made more to his liking but doesn't wanna put in the work. So he's getting them to do it instead. Then, when it's to his liking, he can just come and collect. He could just be wanting to see how each of the people tick, they can't block him so maybe he's seeing how to disable them for a while for some reason. Also someone theorized he's after SOLARS star, which is also a good possibility. Distraction then go into steal what you want.

Hey Moon, it might be a good time to learn the Grey Rock method for dealing with Eclipse. You just give rather noncommittal answers and mostly ignore him, even when hes kicking up a scene. This man, despite not being the orginal, wants your attention. Its why he bothers talking to you even though youre not the main target right now. Take a breather, its okay that he gets under your skin, but feeding into it is only going to hurt you. Also, helping Ruin even though you dont fully trust him shows how youre not the Old you because the Old Moon wouldve just let him die. Poor Ruin, I feel so bad for him. He’s terrified of Eclipse and Moon. He’s terrified of everyone around him and depressed that the family he’s supposed to be a part of doesn’t trust him. He feels like an outcast. Eclipse is starting to loose his patience and go off the rails, going back to animatronics he has already suspected for creating him. Eclipse doesn’t know his purpose anymore and he’s lost his will to live. Maybe that’s why he’s pushing Moon’s buttons, because he’s to afraid to end it himself. Moon’s behavior is concerning me, he’s starting to snap and act like the old Moon. Once Eclipse points it out to him, Moon denies denies denies. He doesn’t want to believe that he’s becoming his old self, so he won’t believe it.

Oh my gosh my heart felt like it stopped so many times during this episode. I definitely hope Ruin is innocent, poor thing seemed so scared in this episode. Well done for moon stepping in, but my gosh. My heart 💔 moon thinking Eclipse is his only purpose? No moon, no he is not. You have purpose and its not him. Your worth so much more than that, you have purpose to your family, your loved ones, your friends and ourpose to finding happiness for yourself in whatever form you choose. Live and enjoy life as much as you can, even around the hard times. My heart also broke with Moon saying he felt like he cant trust anyone, there is so much hurt and damage there. I hope Solar gives Eclipse a good what for in one of these episodses defending his family and friends, like he did when he first met Eclipse in his demension. Proving to Eclipse how different his life could of been if he made better choices instead of repeating the same ones again and again bringing him no peace or satisfaction x

_Spoilers for future episode below_ Coming back to this after the current videos just makes this all hit harder man; no wonder Eclipse is going insane- I’d go insane too if I were right and nobody was listening. This whole time Eclipse just keeps continuing to be right. Because he’s smart, and he knows it. He just doesn’t know how to appropriately convey emotion or address his trauma. He’s hardly been listened to, and has to keep watching everyone put others’ crimes (COUGH Bloodmoon COUGH) on him while he keeps trying to warn about upcoming events or blatantly discover something before the others, but because he has the misfortune of being him, he just has to play along until they realize themselves once it’s too late. Eclipse really is the definition of tragic. Yes, he’s still done wrong things (kill lunar, maternity chip on Roxy, generally mean) but he’s done FAR LESS than what he’s blamed for. Far less than Moon, even.

Eclipse could actually be onto something. (and Moon doesn't want to admit it.) but first, Eclipse should find evidence like Moon said. Finding those stolen encrypted files and unencrypting them should be a good place to start. (but again, those files were stolen from Ruin when he was knocked out by Eclipse. Does Eclipse have those files still? Or was Ruin lying?)
