Yea, I am a truck driver and up until recently I didn't make it home very often. I had a mountain of packages waiting for me that I am just now getting into. It was like Christmas. Thanks for watching

Any chance you could show the back of that ECD-413? I need a look at the wiring. I have one that's seen some rough use and I haven't been able to find any pics or info online so far. Also, thanks for making these videos! I still have the Eclipse ECE-302 tape deck, Zapco Z100S1VX and two JL 15W1s that I saved up for and installed into my '85 suburban when I turned 16. Still have the suburban too!

Shorting the 3pins does work, not always the 1st time. The few I've done it took about 3 or 4 tries but worked.

2001 Monolithic I used to be a big fan of Clarion head units, I have 2 from the early 2000s that still work. My friend had a Saab 9000 turbo with a complete factory Clarion system. I don't even know if Clarion is still in business?

@@K-Effect I feel like I just seen a newer clarion head unit. I think they still make high end head units. I have never personally run one but they had some of the craziest tricked out head units. Denon, Clarion, Eclipse all had gear as good if not better than Alpine but Alpine had an amazing marketing machine behind it.

Loved the clip. Had a great time growing up with Eclipse receivers. Any idea how much a brand new 8053 can go for these days?

One sold two months ago on Ebay for $275. I've seen them sell for up to $350 with box and manual. They are pretty desirable decks because of the high voltage balanced outputs. Some consider the 8053 the best deck Eclipse ever made. That or the ECU-503 which supposedly sounds as good or better than the Alpine 7909.
