Another one of my daily walks this time for ECML diverts due to the ECML being closed between Hitchin & Peterborough for engineering works & also Freight diverts because the GEML was closed in the London area also for engineering works.

Does the ECML diverts means the ECML is too busy and trains need to via a less busy line? 5:14 two HSTs parked along with 2 sets of LO 317 I cant wait to travel to uk after the pandemic! Your railway trains are awesome!

The ECML was closed between Hitchin & Peterborough for engineering thus LNER were diverting via Cambridge & Ely.
