I grew up running around barefoot on a farm and stepped on more than one bee. The baking soda paste is what my grandma always put on me to take the sting away. It works great!

woah cool to know it works on multiple insects!

I like putting any type of anti itch creams in the fridge so it really cools down the bug bite, rash etc….

Skeeters! The bane of my life too. I have found different treatments help different people. For me it's lavender or eucalyptus oil, or tiger balm or Goanna oil. The tiger balm and Goanna oil have camphor, menthol and/or cloves. All good for pain relief.

Hi Emma 😊 If you ever get oil on your clothes, try absorbing it with paper or another cloth, sprinkle baking soda on it for 24 hours, then use dish soap on it. I don't use Dawn but I do keep a tiny bottle for accidents. My husband spilled an entire bottle of vinegar and oil dressing on carpet and I was shocked to see this literally remove all oil. Thanks for another great video 😊❤

I almost always listen at 2x speed it's so weird to me people are complaining you talk too fast at regular speed 😂. There are 2 people I watch where I have to do 1.25 speed but they have heavy accents.

Another diy relief that helps with swelling is witch Hazel. Tho that was for someone allergic to tropical bird mites so idk how that would translate to mosquito bites.

Have you done anything for bug bite prevention before? I'd love to know some eco-friendly options to keep from getting bit in the first piace!

For the baking soda option: does the itch relief still work after it has flaked off?
@TheSimpleEnvironmentalist3 ай бұрын
yes! i keep it on as long as possible but it remains itch free for several hours and even all day long!

I went backpacking this past weekend in the Emigrant Wilderness near Stanislaus National Forest in CA. There were unfortunately mosquitos. 🦟 😔 I was not prepared the first day hiking into camp and got a lot of bites on my back. Once I got to camp I slathered on the bug cream.

woah fun and not fun! I hope these help ease the bites :)
