Im doing the same research but the water resistant version naman....nung nag search ako ng about sa lye/soduim hydroxide nabasa ko lang na it can remove impurities and napansin ko lang na mas naging lighter din yung result ng paper pero the sodium hydroxide is dangerous and can irritate us so better wear protective equipments while using it and mas better kung ma wash ng maigi yung lye after ihalo sa pagpapakulo and after ng pag beblend.....and pwede rin na ihalo nyo ito sa water na 25ml bago sya isama sa pinapakuluan na stem or gamit nalang ng lye water....well stay safe while using it guysss medyo natatakot din ako gumamit ng lye so maybe I will find the much safer to use for our upcoming experiment

@@raine789k para maalis yung mga drebris na di kailangan saka yung mga impurities and i think kapag nasobrahan sa babad is mag lilighten yung color(not sure pero may napanood kasi ako)

Hello!! No it doesn’t!! In fact, the finish product is odorless hehe😊 Although during the process, you can smell the Sodium Hydroxide, as well as the Pseudostem. For me, it doesn’t smell that bad naman.
