The earthen routes farm makes me calm whenever I visit it during or after my office hours in Tata, it's a therapy for me. Such initiatives must be backed and supported.

It is soul destroying to see your food forest being destroyed. It takes so much time and effort( and tons of love) to yield results ....and then to see it destroyed ..... I couldn't take that. There has got to be understanding, empathy, another way which the road builders ( or people who make rules)need to consider. Food forest is a long term solution( infinite) for the health of the community and the environment. As opposed to road building which will probably serve the community for a finite time only.

What a wonderful project, in all its dimensions. I hope the community around this space will recall that crisis is also opportunity, and secure bigger and better space than what has been lost. Surely there is some more available ground on the campus or on nearby public property where the project can expand and benefit even more people, and some wise person who would be happy with the good things people would say for their contributions.

Very nice. Amazing work Earthen Routes. Great going Babita and Bharat 😊

Well this being "bharat" poor babita has no choice but see her beautiful creation get destroyed by a road. If this had been a western country the local residents would have fought back and taken the local municipality or govt or whoever is responsible for the construction to court and probably won. She on the other hand plans to have ghe setup somewhere else and it's only a matter or time when she ll get uprooted from there as well 😢

Your guys are doing a great job. God bless you! You should hold a petition with the authorities and modi about moving the road elsewhere. This project is far more important for the lives of many. They are breaking the farm deliberately with someone's orders higher up I feel!! Shame on them

Had this been a western country the residents would have taken the local municipalty/government whoever is constructing the road to court fought back and probably won. This isnt a patch of land with decorative greenery it serves to those needy st jude s patients. But unfortunately being india there isnt much chance to win the case and save the patch. She thinks of recreating a patch somwhwre else but this story will keep happening 😐
