Rakesh Sir is an inspiration for me and many more. Delhi state bird, Sparrows once were so common but now the number has dwindled that we rarely see them. Sir helped our school students also to make these nests and were instrumental in making them eco warriors .Lots of regards for great environmentalist like Khatri Sir.

Bahut khoob sir. Wonderful work. I have a few sparrows visiting my house. I have a big basin filled with clean water everyday for birds. I love to see birds coming in the morning and evening to drink water, bath and play. Crows, pigeons, minas and sparrows come everyday.

Great idea. I have been trying to invite sparrows who used to gave state sammelan early morning in front of my house in Kerala.. I tried to attract them with grains etc. Bit never succreded.. perhaps sparrows in Kerala are rebels.. Anyway I would like to gave a few nests from Delhi soon and see whether they would come around. Ofcourse there are nany trees in our plce and so are water bodies which may be one reason why they dont get closer
