Wouldn’t that make it worse😂😂. Flutter happens when there back pressure on the turbo. Meaning more pressure on bob equals more pressure on turbo equals more flutter.

This valve in many other videos just make the "Psssh" sound. The one in this video flutters. how do you get it to flutter?

wildman00sax If you have the valve too tight it will flutter, the video is fluttering only because it was in partial boost. Fluttering is not what you would want under a full throttle pull, as the sound is from air surging back into the turbo trying to slow it down. If you have fluttering or surge, loosen your blow off valve until it goes away!

+Rodolfo Kennis It can depend on a few things: boost levels, other supporting mods, intake and exhaust, etc. It can also depend on the microphone on the camera and the filming environment. We use a high quality mic and film outside so that sound is true!

What is the difference between the TurboSmart Kompact and TurboSmart SuperSonic? There are many different BOV's offered in different kits. In the charge pipe kit, i can pick between the Smart Port SuperSonic or HKS, I am also offered the TurboSmart SuperSonic(same name?) in the turbo kit, or i can buy the Kompact separately? Which one do I go with and depending on which one, can i go with the correct one for me and void the purchase of seperate BOV's that come in the other kits?

We are sorry you're confused. Lots of tricky names that are all very similar. To sum it up: We offer either Turbosmart or HKS. Any variations in the names for Turbosmart will be the same BOV. Let us know if this clears up the confusion and if we can answer any other questions! Nobody wants a pile of useless BOVs...

Was difficult to get good sound with the tires spinning but I can assure you once we crank up the boost you'll hear it a lot better! Stay tuned we are working on another video of this BOV and one using a Turbosmart Raceport BOV that is 100% VTA as well.

I never had a turbo before so I have no idea but mine is an automatic and it has some sort of wiring to it instead of that hose connector at the top. Does this only work for manual transmission?

Burger Mclickin The install should be the same. If you are buying it for the noise just know it only makes the "CHH" when you let off the throttle, on an automatic you don't let off when shifting like in a manual so it will not make the noises in-between shifting only when letting off the gas. Still, a BOV will keep your turbo safe by eliminating compressor surge and turbo lag (during movement) so it can still be a great investment!
