Thanks for the unboxing video of the Delta Max. It's good to see that Ecoflow does pack their power stations nicely. Well protected from any damage that it may encounter.

Try an air fryer on the set up. It's a game changer for campers. Induction runs sweet on 400 - 600 watts. Bacon n eggs

The fast charging is the reason why I got the Delta Max. I am so impressed by it that it actually charges faster than my mobile phone.

I bought Ecoflow River 576 w and didn’t even know about the charge function. This, together with the light weight, mobile app and amount of pets made it a winner. And it is quiet.

I hope ecoflow gives your viewers a discount soon. This is in direct competition with bluetti, and ive gotta say, you're selling it quite well! Glad to see you back on the Tube!! Can't wait for further testing and reviews!!

The Delta Max 2000 is currently on sale. Not sure how long it will be. Check at the link under the video. I haven’t used a Bluetti to compare with the EcoFlow but Im impressed with the EcoFlow so far. Filming the camping field test video this weekend so stay tuned for review part 2 soon.

I am gonna agree that in this uncertain times. Having a Delta Max is now a necessity rather than luxury. The same reason I am getting one as a back up power source for my home.

Great review covered off all the most obvious things you would want to know or try. Looking forward to your real life test in the field. Thanks for the good work.

I would definitely call it beastie too as it has a monstrous 2016W capacity which is by far a really good capacity. for a power station in that size.

The fridge and esp. if you have a freezer in a warm climate will be drawing 24-7. So your effective power will be whatever is left by the fridge/freezer (which I expect to be at least 50Ah over 24hrs). So I would be interested to see your field trop results. And of course when you are charging via the alternator you are wearing it out and increase fuel consumption. So solar should be prefered. I don't know if this unit is smart enough to prioritise solar over alternator if both are connected you may want to look into this. Tha solar panel is certainly not cheap and I would consider putting a solid panel on the roof for while driving, parked, etc. Cause it is only after and for as long as you have camp that you can deploy the foldable solar. If you decide to go for a drive away from the camp then what? You leave your battery, fridge, solar there? Think also about a 2nd smaller battery e.g. in the 50Ah range you can take it to the beach if you want to work on your laptop or ipad. easy to move back to the car if you are going for a drive, and you also have a back up esp. for the fridge if the main one fails or goes empty. That's my two pence. Looking forward to the real use videos.

One reason why I got the Delta Max is the option to add extra batteries and increase the capacity in no time.

It looks like a great power station. Seriously big $$ for a solo traveler
@ExpeditionAustralia2 жыл бұрын
Yeah they are not cheap. They do have smaller versions which still give you the 12v/240v/USB outlets but just less battery storage for less $$$

I must say that I don't fully understand the technical terms used but never the less I'm interested in something like that for the caravan and as a backup for power during blackouts at home especially the fridge. At the moment there seems to be so much product out there it's a daunting prospect to pick the right unit. Guess I'm going to need all the help I can get.

Cheers Dave. That’s what I like about the idea of a self contained unit like the EcoFlow. It’s a great back up for the house especially when it seems delivering constant mains power is becoming a challenge!!

Thanks for making this video. Especially for the Australian market where a lot of video reviews for this product come from North America. I have a question in regards to charging the unit from your AC wall outlet - do you need to upgrade from a standard 10A circuit to a 20A circuit to allow for the “Fast Charge” option or is Fast Charge fine with a standard AC wall outlet?
@ExpeditionAustralia2 жыл бұрын
No need to upgrade the outlet. It charges fine with the 10amp

Great review...I had a similar thought for our vehicle. Have also looked at the Redarc GoBlock. Keen to get your thoughts on that one.

Thanks for the great info! Any idea how long it would take to charge up to 100% from empty using the 12V cig adapter cable into the solar input like you would traveling in a vehicle?
@ExpeditionAustralia2 жыл бұрын
Quite a while as it only pulls a max of 126w from the cigarette lighter socket. Watch my next two videos where I found a way to 10x that charging.

Great review thus far (cant wait for the actual field trip with running the 12v fridge). In essence this system clearly replaces all the common system required to run the 12v fridge and appliances. Am I right here? I will be running a 80ltr waeco fridge and use some power for maybe induction cooking and recharging phones. Thanks again for your brilliant reviews, I also wonder how does it stand to a Bluetti
