Hey guys, i purchased this thing to cool my Ram 1500 crew cab and Ford e250 van when on the job and vehicle not running. Well, i tested it one afternoon with the ram truck under a tree for shade with 92 degrees outside temperature and very humid. I paid $1500 for the ac unit, extended battery, which didn't ship with the unit, and the alternator charger, which i didn't hook up. I ran this thing for 2 to 3 hours, and I'm highly disappointed. In that time, it didn't cool the cab like the truck ac whe the truck was running. It did give me a 20-degree air temperature split, but the air was only around 65 degrees cold, not enough to cool the cabin after 2hrs. It was powered by a Bluetti AC 200 and pulled between 400 and 550 watts the entire time. So the crew cab is only about 6x5ft. Hopefully, this is enough information for you to make an informed decision

Do not buy this product. Went through 3 replacements for temperature sensor inaccuracy, with no fix. Returned it.

900€ is a bit too much for a portable conditioner😂

But i could bring my 6000 btu window shaker that pull 327 watts for a price of $149.00, cut a hole in the side of the tent secure and seal with Velcro, i could run this off my Ecoflo, what else could I buy with the $1500.00 savings??? How many recharges can the batteries take?? I used to own a HVAC company that works with solar. Im not trying to be difficult, its just the cost verses ROI.

I saw a comma in that price. Get real. Z

finally a portable ac that doesn't use 1 tube. So many just use 1 tube and let them exchange heat making the ac super inefficient

WHY!? do you need an "Intake" from the outside of the house? Isn't it HOT AND HUMID outside!!??

One year later and I gotta say I love my unit

You must have talk about the two sleeves... the intake sleeve and the exhaust sleeve.

It's nice and on a huge discount during Prime days for the next four hours but it's a 5,000 BTU air conditioner/heat pump for four to five times the cost of a 10,000 BTU portable air conditioner so it's value is the low power usage, the optional battery packs, the optional solar panels and being small enough to carry in the trunk of your car and lifted by one person. You certainly don't want to hike with this though theoretically you could. Maybe something if you're a van living pretend nomad or a prepper.

Not sure how you've directed those nozzles out of the window bud. But separating them as much as possible is the way forward. At the very least have the input low pointing down and out high pointing up when running as ac.
@Eunotus
Its a heat pump not an ac. It heats and cools i believe

Wonder if it’ll be cooler if the intake was inside the room pulling the cold air that it’s pushing out already

Why have the intake outside would it not be more efficient to take the air out of the room that's already cooled down...

I saw another video about this product. Unless you have deep pockets, it was suggested don't bother.
