I have noticed this too and the electrician installed mine 3 days ago :( No difference in electricity usage

Helped so much thank you. My issue is my house has the old type DB's and there is no space inside the wall cavity to store the timer. I connected it, it worked, but I cannot have it loose outside the DB and found not enough space to safely store the timer behind the DB plate somewhere. Maybe I can install a new DB 🤔
