I wanted to xtset country year but it says "repeated time values within panel". Of course I have repeated years...I don't understand what is wrong here. "duplicates report" doesn't show any overall duplicates

yes I have the same issue. I know it has been two years (and the video since 2013), but I hope someone will help me. There is another command drop if year [_n-1], in case it helps someone. It didn't help me, it actually deleted all my observations. duplicate report shows that all my obersvations have a 1 copy. So I need to find another solution.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. It does appear that the link to the data is broken.... I will have to look into this and once I figure out a work around I will post the data to my personal website. ...
