Econometrics for Ph.D. students: 2 Preliminaries

This video is part of the course Econometrics 2 for Research Master students at Tilburg University.
I discuss some preliminaries to bring everybody on the same page. In particular, I talk about the difference between a model and an estimator, explain what identification means and what a Monte Carlo study is, and we briefly review Maximum Likelihood estimation.
