(b) Indirect taxes were reformed. 3 Foreign exchange reserves Due to devaluation exports from india increased and imports reduced leading in more foreign reserves for the government. 4 Financial sector reforms RBi converted from regulator to facilitator and also increasing FDI and FII 5 Trade and foreign investment policy reserves (a) Abolition of export duties. (b) Reduction in tariffs (c) Abolition of import licensing. (d)Removal of Quantitative restrictions
