Hi Reza, I use MS Word (2007 and above have the sweet equation editor that you see). Subscript: after that, for "x-hat-sub-one" you'd type "x\hat_1 [space]" and you'll the '1' subscript. Superscript: "x-tilde-squared" for example you'd type "x\tilde^2 [space]" It mostly uses LaTeX conventions, so look up LaTeX equation code when in doubt and you'll be set.

Thanks a lot for your explanation it was of great help! I've one question: Why some empirical evidences took constant scale 0.7 and 0.3 to calculate TFP while they build their analysis from endogenous growth theory that assume increasing returns to scale...?! Thanks

hey curtis what word editing software are you using and what are the shortcuts for subscript and superscript? I hate typing those things lol
