The fact that those trees are not only still there, but virtually no deforestation has occurred since then is truly monumental first step. It means that we have a fighting chance and that we're winning just many battles as we lose. Hopefully that means we can look forward to forests starting to recover and reclaim the land that was taken from them!

I love seeing how thoughtful Ecosia's approach is with who they choose to partner with.
