Currently studying for my ecological economics class and this provided some wonderful insight to ecosystem services. Thank you so much for this video. Beautiful presentation for a visual learner

Probably the best video on ecosystem services I've seen. So important to have something like this. Most people simply don't have the scientific literacy to make the connections to understand how biodiversity loss directly affects our livelihoods. Please do one focused on the ecological functions in particular that result in eco-services.

Hi there, video owner. Thank you for making this video available. I am currently trying to encourage students to appreciate the importance of biodiversity. I've trying to show them this documentary for them to understand better as to who will eventually suffer if biodiversity is lost. Thanks

This video acts as if the lives of millions of animals is less valuable than the quality of life of future generations, these people who do not exist, who do not need to exist, are hypothetical and is not what WE as a species shouldn't be concerned about. How do we put a price the non existent life on future people? Wow what a egotistical concern! How about, directing your concerns on the depletion of ecosystems, and the quality of animals in real life, the present, the reality! Lets address the "It's Ours", So many people only are concerned about themselves and others within their community, WE as humans, should not act as if our existence is more important than others! Simply because you've passed a law or purchased a piece of land, it does not actually mean that it belongs to you! it is a fictional concept that WE humans have created to boost our egos, thus it is not our land, it is land, that we inhabit, but do not own!!!
