Every time I unbox a Ecovacs in my home the first time my wife sees it she comments on how good it looks. She does not say that about any other brand.

Have they fixed their damn app though. It was almost unusable when I returned a T10 two months back

No not that I can tell. Still not well laid out. Room dividing takes way longer than it should and it constantly locks up and stops refreshing data in the app.

@@jamie.andrews such a shame! I get the feeling they don't have in-house software devs as updates are so sporadic and bugs never addressed. The hardware guys are clearly excellent

​@@jamie.andrews Although Deebot T8+ (Bestbuy version of N8) without physical, mechanic, parts issue, the Deebot app, specially maps sometimes got fragmented causes the robot confused to navigate. What I always kept doing is turning off the robot and turning it back on to reload the map. I think that's enough Deebot robot ...my possible next robot maybe Q-revo or S8+ Ultra (until the price is right :) )....

@@n00bma5ter69 agreed with you on Deebot's hardwards, I've been having T8+ 4 years without any hardware issue....only the app...yes their app gets updates and improvements but the map's fragmentation keeps reoccurring (means the map's draws becoming dislocated, areas' borders became disalligned so until robot could not find way back to the base nor find way to a specific area to clean then I have to turn on and off the robot to reload the map! I think now I have enough justification not to buy second Deebot robot after 4 years with T8 but Roborock then LoL!!

@@MacumbacaoExtrema a few people asked, but not very many which is why I decided to just talk about the main differences in the vkdeo. I have also tested the S7 Maxv on several different videos on my channel so there is data to dig up for comparison. I have a full comparison on my list to do, but it will likely be a few months out as I am pretty backlogged at the moment. The biggest request is for the Dreame L10s Ultra vs the Q Revo.

Hi both the s7 max ultra and t20 are on sale for the same price which would you recommend as they both seem very similar apart from a few minor things please explain your answer from long term build quality and hassle perspective, many thanks

For me it would come down to obstacle avoidance. On the S7 Max it is worse than the T20. If that does not bother you the S7 Max is better at cleaning.

Mine was working perfectly, since 2-3 weeks when I start it , it says area not found as it takes another map. It’s very frustrating, what should I do?

I would contact support. I'm not certain what would cause that without knowing more info. I have not heard of that one before.

hey Jamie, I got some users reported that when this robot got back to the base to wet its pad, it left water wet all around before the base ramp ....a mess! can you please confirm/or test about that?

Yea it looks like it does it for some reason when it returns to the dock. No clue why. I have also seen it leave the pads down when coming out of the dock, but not every time. Hoping a firmware update will fix it.

@@jamie.andrews then that's said about it LoL I would not bother unless wanted to test around going to Costco , but it , 90 days trial otherwise returning!!
