Mine arrived 3 days ago, machine states Pure TDS level 20, while when measuring with a pen it shows 70. I’m talking to their customer service currently, but this is not good. Also, they asked me to leave a good review and I will get free carafe or CF filter, this is obviously reason how this machine has good review!

Did you flush out the machine? Most filters need to be flushed before they are fully functional. I just had to flush my current under the sink filters system by running the water for 30 minutes. I'd run and empty like 10+ full tanks.

@@AtHomewithLucas Hello Lucas, I flushed it 7 times first time, and probably like 10 times after that already. I’m just disappointed, now I have to deal with customer service and go back and forth with them, while honestly I don’t wanna drink this water.

So it keeps reading 70 on your tester, but the ecoviva says 20?
@creitosfl6 ай бұрын
@@AtHomewithLucas Yes, exactly that. I measured it with TDS pen and it shows 70, so I flushed it again, and measured again and it’s 70 again. EcoViva shows 20 Pure TDS while obviously is not.

This is my guess. The machine is measuring the water flowing through the TDS tester, giving it a different reading, then putting your tester in a glass. Also 70 is pure water levels as far as I know.

The coils in the bottom of the kettle, from my recent research, shows that it is there as a heating element to remove what the RO system does not remove. It seems that there is a very small amount of microorganisms that might get through which are inactive. They would have to become active again for them to be harmful, but in this stage they are not. If you do not change your filters or clean the system regularly, like you're supposed to, then you might have some of these microorganisms that can be considered harmful. This is just an extra level of removing these microorganisms. You do not have to do this process, if that is an option, as it is rare for them to exist, but I would keep it on. Now, again, this is from my online research that I did and this is not something that I know for sure. This is what I was thinking before I did the research.

Hey thanks so much! That totally sounds like facts to me. It's so weird they don't explain that in the manual or on the Amazon page.

Hello thank you so much for giving your thoughts about the item! The metal coil at the bottom of the kettle was retained for the later upgrade of the heating function of the machine. Should you have any question feel free to contact!💞

If two yellow lights come on, I change the filters, but they are still yellow, why is this?
@AtHomewithLucas6 ай бұрын
Oh no that sucks. As I haven't replaced the filters I'm not sure. Silly question but did you hit reset/flush button?

They will last 12 months with light use but less if you use it a lot (filling cups throughout the day)
