Great stuff. On Honda, you will see a focus on different markets,Mitsubishi will be SE Asia, pick ups,minivans,etc.,Nissan Sports cars,medium SUVs, some electric, Honda will be the flagship, Patrol will be rebranded for Honda, Infinity may be cut off completely, it's a looser for a while and not very popular My uncle is on the board for Honda for development in Europe.I saw some stuff coming out by 2028 on the Acura line, and it's out of this world,ICE and electric hybrid beasts!!!!

After seeing the Chinese EV market drive Tesla to respond to extreme competition, it makes you wonder what a free market for Chinese cars in Europe and North America would do to prices and quality in those markets.

Toyota, Honda, Subaru, Mazda will always be the safest way to go. If you don’t want any of those then these three brands are ok: Hyundai- DO NOT BUY ANY 4 CYLINDER ENGINE IN A HYUNDAI Kia- DO NOT BUT A 4 CYLINDER KIA Nissan- they’re actually ok, as long as you don’t buy one with a cvt or any model made in 2012-2018

As an immigrant to the USA I’ve always thought that Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge have had exciting looking cars and trucks. Quintessential U.S.A! When they were little cheaper than the competition they made sense but now they are ridiculously expensive they don’t. If you have a cosmetically attractive vehicle but a reputation for bad build quality at least keep your prices down to have a foot in the door. At the moment I’d still prefer a low mileage V6 Charger or Challenger for the same money as a new base economy car small 4 cylinder turbo. I own a 2014 jeep patriot that I’m on my 11th year with. Only just hit 50k mileage. It has a sunroof, heated seats and a remote start. 2.4- 6 speed automatic. Agricultural compared to today’s wiz bangs but because it’s regularly serviced with low mileage and cost thousands less than the competition at the time, I’m pretty happy. Great for snow days too, that electronic diff lock is a nice feature to have.

You are describing every issue that seems to be in other brands as well. All the vehicles being sold now are crap. I'm looking for a vehicle in a SUV and all new engines, tech, etc. Even the supposed brands with durability have their fair share of engine issues or potential issues down the road when buying their product. I would love to see the companies stand behind what they build and take responsibility for it when it breaks.....wouldn't that be nice.

Great choices to hit the dust. I do believe most people want less expensive, smaller, gasoline fueled, non-turbo, non-CVT, reliable cars. I know such vehicles probably will never be made by the larger companies, but watch out for China. Sad.

Used to work for Chevrolet, Nissan, and Geo back in 1990 and Nissan used to be pretty good with VQ engines in Maximas and Sentras were decent sellers. Nissan 300Z was a damn good car but a poor sales leader. Chevrolet Corvette had issues with water-leaking windows and we had to park it inside the shop when rained outside. I can't remember if it was just one Corvette with leaking issues or if it was a recall for the model but regardless a brand-new Corvette shouldn't have water leaking through in the first place. Chevrolet Lumina was a decent car but Corsica’s were selling very well. So many cars disappear but some cars like Jeeps I won't miss. Junks.

@ECPP2 сағат бұрын
Alfas and Maseratis are wonderful cars but there is too much negative inertia against those brands. I personally like them and they are no worse than a modern Benz or Audi but the depreciation does hit hard and as a result a rough purchase from an investment perspective
@Bigsteppa559-q9p2 сағат бұрын
@@ECPP Yeah no doubt about the deprecation hitting hard, my brother recently purchased a used 2023 Alfa Romeo Giulia Veloce AWD with 18,000 miles on it with about 3 years of warranty left on it for $25,900. The mrsp was $51,929 in 2023… that’s literally a 50% depreciation within a year lol & it’s definitely not any worse than any modern Mercedes, Audi or bmw.
