ECR | The BEST Track in Texas?

I finally had a chance to visit Eagles Canyon Raceway (ECR). Many say this is the best track in Texas. What do you think?

Hi friends! I finally made it out to Eagles Canyon and I’ve gotta say it’s an incredible place. The facility is like a ski resort for motorsports enthusiasts. I highly recommend it if you have the opportunity. This was my first time riding since my crash, luckily the shoulder was mostly fine! The goal was to familiarize myself with the track and establish a baseline to build off of. It’s probably the most technical track I’ve been to in Texas. Still losing a ton of corner speed in turns 1, 3 (especially 3), 6-7, 13, and 15. Would also like to try -2 gearing instead of +1. Finally, it was 104-106F!!! I was using Pirelli SC1 slicks and the heat was a bit on the extreme side, next time I’d like to use a SC2 or SC3 rear in such a hot environment. Last note is I was planning on vlogging and brought my vlogging camera but I forgot my SD card at home! Sorry! Next time I will remember and show you the incredible facilities as well. Great riding @vtranmoto . ECR is so much fin but I haven't ridden on it since they re-configured it. Looks like all the bumps and patches are gone so that's good. Who did you do the trackday with?

Thanks so much! I had heard so much about it so I was very happy to finally get to ride it. The surface is literally perfect. Really great flow with not too long/many breaks so you really can just get *into* it if you know what I mean! I’ve been back now with my supermoto as well and I can say it doesn’t get old! SportRiderCoaching is how I was able to ride. Jim Dugger and his staff do a great job. The time with the supermoto I went as a guest of a friend who is a member.

it truly is, only issue is Texas heat in July/August - will go back in Sep/Oct! I can't believe they have that restaurant/bar up on the hill haha. So awesome.

Haha thank you 🙏 it was a mixed crowd of some novice and experienced folks, everyone was riding their own ride and working on things. Really really fun track, only complaint was the scorching heat! Will have to go back out when it’s a bit cooler weather.

What's the top speed of this beauty?

It’s right around 155-160mph on a straight; stock 890cc twin engine. Corners are really where it shines!
