My favorite town theme out of all of the Pokemon games. I love the relaxing atmosphere which is ironic considering there is a burned tower and also the type the gym leader uses (ghost).

You know, even at a young age, I noticed that Johto had a much more overt Japanese feel compared to Kanto. Ecruteak City (and to a lesser extent Azalea Town) is/are responsible for that feel.

Pardon me for being so late to this channel. I didn't know you had a second channel for the acoustic covers. But, wow, not gonna lie.... This cover makes my eyes water a bit. I mean, the 8-Bit version makes me misty eyed too. But, yeah, this cover captures that perfectly.... Seriously though, this song is one of the most beautiful in the Pokemon series. I don't think many come close to it. (Also, I'm so glad you used the original pitch, instead of the HG/SS version.... That's the one thing I actually dislike about that remake. They messed this song up pretty badly.... It lost so much of the original version's emotion. All by changing the pitch, when the song was already pitch perfect.)
