ECS Diverter Valve Spacer MK7R

Upon further review I DO NOT recommend this part from ecs. My oem diverter valve failed after about 3 months of running this. Not detrimental to the car but it was a $50 replacement and I did upgrade to revision "D" from pierburg.

How did you know it failed? What happened?

​@d4rkn065 diaphragm rips but if you upgrade to revision D it uses a plastic piston and it is very improbable for that to break

I showed this to my mechanic he said the old Diverter will fail after a few miles since it’s not use to this amount of space from factory it’s best to just buy a blow off valve from a trusted source or get a upgraded Diverter and it will last longer then a few months but recommend the blow off valve more with good oil changes

Does it not spray a slight bit of oil out and onto the engine? Had this prroblem with bovs

there was oil around all 3 ports when i removed it. nothing major though
