Gonna give this a try. Nice job ladies. I did buy the Breville a few yrs ago, buy the single cup grind and brew never worked. They replace it 6 times and then gave up, giving me full refund. Been waiting (and waiting) for a company to make one that works.

I think even for a everyday coffee drinker who’s not a mega coffee Aficionado this machine is well worth it. You’ll still save money overtime not buying expensive k-cups and probably get a much better cup of coffee. Im on my third k-cup machine in 4 years with about each machine costing between $150-200. I would have to think with a quality brand like delonghi lasting a lot longer and the no pod savings this thing is well worth it in the long run even if you’re not a fancy pants coffee person like these lovely ladies.

@@Myspicyonion This coffee maker is awesome. About every two to three days, a red light comes on and I need to remove the front of the machine to dump the coffee grounds and the separate compartment of waste water. The two compartments are removable for easy cleaning. Then a simple paper towel wipe down of the inside and I push the front back in and it is ready to go. The “dry” coffee grounds now go into my garden instead of the trash! And the grinder assembly is easy to clean as well. The machine makes some noise, but I got use to it. So, best coffee maker ever. I love that I just add whole beans in the top, and I get a perfect cup of coffee every time. I was a loyal K-cup junkie, but now my 2.0 machine is packed up in the garage.

I used chat gpt and if you buy an average 5 pound bag of beans for 40$ you cam brew a 24 ounce cup for about .80 cents to 1.00. This is way better than drive through venti for 3.80 at starbucks. The machine will pay for itself in 4-5 months if you stop drive thru coffee.

Is there another machine like this. I love the fresh coffee aspect. Right now I have a Keurig that also does drip. That is what we know and love. Looking for a machine to do those two things. Is this my best option. We don't really do expresso. Please let me know. Thanks

I have been looking for a replacement for my keurig coffee maker. Tired of buying the pods and the meh coffee that it makes...I am not a coffee snob, but I do appreciate a full flavored coffee that seems impossible to get from the pod machines....I first bought the Breville Grind Control and it was deff a step up from a pod machine, but I was not aware of the maintenance. It must be cleaned and washed after every brew and since I was looking for a more single cup coffee maker, which the Breville can do, if you decide you want a second cup, you have to wash everything and dry it off before making another cup. So I returned the Breville and purchased the Truebrew....should have bought the Truebrew first...it is a true replacement for a pod coffee maker and is very low maintenance. Brew 1, 2 or however many cups you want with little problem and I thought the Breville made a good cup of coffee, that is until I tried the coffee made by this machine. I am sure the fancy $1k+ machines Delonghi offers are even better, but for those of us who are just looking for a convenient cup of coffee from freshly ground beans, this is the one...I am a happy camper...

I just got mine and as it’s cycling right before brews, it makes kind of a plastic-on-plastic click noise. Does yours? It also makes this noise during the auto off process. It sounds alarming but I think I can hear it in this video.
@theftworthrealtor Жыл бұрын
@@meganheyden2220 I did notice it makes a very loud snapping sound when it shuts off and for a few weeks I was always in the other room when it did, but the other day I happened to be standing right there and was a little alarmed to see the machine physically snap apart and back together right at the control panel area. It's like if something is opening or closing inside the machine and its pushing or forcing its way closed...I have emailed Delonghi about this and am waiting for a response. I am curious if your machine does the same. Next time turn it off and watch it closely, when it makes that sound you might see the same..surely this is not the planned design? Other than that, it all seems to be working just fine...

@josephbennett3482 Жыл бұрын
There are hundreds of competitors that have machines that do the exact same thing and are pretty affordable and still customizable in brewing, and then there are some brewers that are outrageously expensive and only a person with a pretty big money stash could afford. I've had mine only a short time and yes, I have found a few grinds under the drip tray when you pull it out to empty the trays, but nothing a paper towel doesn't take care of...my guess is when the puck is dispensed into the tray some of the grinds don't make it all the way into the disposal tray.

How does an 8oz coffee from this machine compare in taste to an 8oz coffee made from one of Delonghi's superauto espresso machines like the Dynamic or Magnifica? I'm curious if the 8oz option uses a higher dose than the max dose in the espresso machines (~9 grams) and if it tastes any better.

This machine doses based on the size of cup you select and the strength of brew. THAT is the awesome thing about this machine. It knows how much coffee to grind based on your selected preferences. I didn't buy the one with the carafe because past experiences with stainless steel carafes is they don't keep coffee very hot. Just my opinion. I opted for the model w/o the carafe and it's perfectly fine for my purposes. I prefer literally a fresh cup each time (fresh ground beans). Also, it's cheaper to get the model w/o the carafe.
