I love import updates! Please keep them coming. It’s so helpful to see trial and error, diagnosing planty issues etc. Thank you for putting this together!

I would love to see an update in 4 months time, especially as they will have been in your new conservatory for a while by then. That serpens is just stunning, and I'm jealous, as the one that I received after purchasing died of root rot, very quickly, and the stem was too rotten to save it. I won't go into it, but I would not purchase from that seller again. I'm just thankful I got a full refund. You've done a good job with all of them, and they'll all be growing like mad in no time. Please do the update, as I'm super excited to see that.

Awww thanks Carey, yeah I was fully expecting the Serpens to suffer as my first one died off fast, but so far so good with this one. Cool will do an update then in 4 months 😊😊😊

I'm putting in an order with Ecquagenera this week. Very excited, I'm waiting for them to get back to me on a couple of plants. Never imported anything before, but thankfully they have a warehouse in Germany now so my order goes through there!
@Houseplantygoodness Жыл бұрын
Ohhh apparently if you are ordering from the EU and it's coming from the EU side of the business the plants seem to be really good mostly (at least from what I hear from people based there

@@Houseplantygoodness yeah, the plants get bulk brought in and checked over from what I understand. I'm really excited as I snatched an anthurium luxurians during a live on their ig

Glad to see your plants are doing so well. Keep up the updates! We have a pop up coming in May. I’m fighting not getting into to Anthurium world. 😂 Start cranking out some shorts! Need to get your subs to 100k so you can decide if you want to keep you day job or bless us with more great content.

Hey Memo, I am a bit late to the party! I was at a Orchid show volunteering at one of the vendor and getting free plants for it! I think you are looking to get A. pedatoradiatum instead of A. pedatum. They are very different plants for sure, I think pedatoradiatum is a bit more fussy than pedatum. I dont think Ecuagenera have ever had pedatoradiatum, I was a lucky enough to get one from my local plant shop. I am still missing A. podophylum from palmate anthurium collection, that plant is currently on the top of my wish list. I might go to the US to get it. El Choco Red is not an easy plant for sure, and Kaylee Ellen was talking about how hard it is to keep them happy in her latest video. I think it needs more humidity to be happy than over velvety Philodendrons for sure. Mine has been have trouble with unfurling leafs and I just moved it closer to my humidifier, hopefully that will help it out.

Almost everything I get goes through a sulk, yellowing, leaf drop, and regeneration. A bit worried about getting the Queen but may bite the bullet and get one. I'd love an update at six months.

Would really like a 6 moth update, i never imported and i curious how they grow long term. I had to get an Esmeraldense philodendron and anthurium too, they really look nice. So far so good (i bought them from Ecuagenera EU). I fell in love with yours and had to have them too😅 I am on my last try with Queen Anthurium, i almost killed 2 , one is recovering in tree fern fiber and the other i propagated it. They are in my top 5 plants ever, but they are so fussy! The third one i just bought will be my last try, i did buy a bigger plant (55 cm leaves)and hopefully I won't kill it .(i am ok with all my other Anthuriums, even my Regale is being less dramatic)

Interesting! I didn't know the Obliqua peru did produce Adansonii-like leaves outside of its still very juvenile state. I personally had the super holey leaves off the bat, though I also kept it under very high light. That said, due to a lack of support, it eventually shot out a long runner with no leaf whatsoever, and I'm currently still waiting on the new growth after cutting it back.

Hey Memo, I'd double check the ID on that serpens... the hairs ob the serpens, especially on older petioles should be green and in the video it looks like they are all red... if they are red and slightly shorter, then that would make me think that's a squamicaule.... gorgeous plant nonetheless

Overall their looking good. 😍 Your Serpens is Looking so good!! Notification was way late 5 pm here. Wondering what substrate you have the Serpens in? Hope your El Choco does well from here on out. 💚

Hi Memo. Please another update at six months, love seeing how plants are growing specially cause spring and summer will be knocking on the door. I missed the deadline for Ecuagenera gutted to say the least but still might make the pop up 🤞🤞🤞

My philodendron serpens had to be restarted and I totally get what you say. He is already activating a grow point but the roots... boy, those look fried! Maybe is normal that they have dark roots? sometimes... when suffered a bit? I really hesitate every day about cut them or not...

Hi Memo, from my experiences Ecuador imports with the Queen, she is thirsty (water et a lot of feed), prefer good light and moisture like semi hydro settings. Mine is in perlite (lechuza pot) with moss topping...I have a Ph. Serpens Chocolat and this one is completely different, prefer to dry between watering, low light...As for the Ph. ElChoco, their roots don't like to be disturb in any way goodluck with the repotting... Do you have Philodendron Luxurians ? a real beauty but so difficult ! keep the good work !
