I work with kids on the autistic spectrum and find painting figures once I get home therapeutic. I'm so busy painting figures for their therapeutic effect that I can't remember the last time I ever gamed with them! I've been lucky enough to have worked with a few of those kids who found painting figures therapeutic and relaxing, too. Thanks for being so open about things and being so inspirational with your attitude and abilities.

Very kind of you. Having this "special interest" in painting miniatures has been a real blessing. I used to work in crisis counselling and mental health case work before my breakdown, so I guess I've seen something from both sides.

growing up in the 80'es as an autistic kid was hell especially when there where no support options for autism at that point anywhere near where i lived and no one really knew much about it either so went un-diagnosed until 10 years ago, one of the few places that wasn't was the local gaming club where at least i wasn't the only weird kid ^^, so thank you for helping the 'weird' kids and people ^^,

Fantastic work, as ever. I originally came for the dark ages, but stayed for absolutely everything you paint. Your painting style makes my eyes sigh in contentment. The thing about pigeonholes is that humans aren't pigeons. We don't fit.

Again really well painted, the figures are pretty dynamic too. The miniatur with the raised helmet was my favorite character. And in your rants your right. 'Everyone has their story' A true word. Greetings back to Tasmania!

About health, painting miniatures is a very good way to lower the negative stress level. It´s like reading a book or something like that, very relaxing. For me it is painting & physical exercise. Those Bloody Minis are bloody lovely 😀👍. I have a bunch in my “pile of opportunity” and definitely going to be grabbing some inspiration from your paint work here.
