Yeah I remember that time 😀 I didn’t intend to make a video, I was just angry about something, I think it was work colleagues annoying me, in the back of my mind I was slightly annoyed by mkx and 11 as well. I was sitting in my car in the carpark and I thought I’d talk about mortal kombat on my phone just to get my anger out about all the stuff I hate about it, and my work anger came out in a mortal kombat rant instead. I carried on ever since. Thanks for sticking around all that time.

MK is my favorite fighting game. This is why I said when MK11 was out, they need to leave the franchise alone and either sell it or stop making them. May be a bit extreme but it doesn’t seem the ppl working on the game has any knowledge of what MK is and they have no camaraderie with one another…?? Like there are some that want to (let’s say) make “Mortal Kombat” the main character again but can’t due to overshadowing of agendas and business tactics. Idk but this isn’t MK to me anymore.

20 years... Midway games brought to the world a bloody game that shook culture and invented the ESR rating system. News cast wouldn't stop talking about it, parents were scared to involve kids. I was a naive kid in Brooklyn when it hit arcades in the early ninetys, just letting the machine eat my quarters and kill my friends in the dead pool and savor the win for the day. Deadly alliance and deception are still remembered because those stories had risks, stakes, pressure, and anxiety because they killed liu kang. The saddest day I've ever known was when Midway went bankrupt, knowing that Armageddon was the last. Mk9 was the last great mk game for me because I recall working as a kitchen chief for the 15 years after a month of deception. Mk1 ( 12 ) is... lost. They clearly have no idea where to take the story forward with fire god liu kang.. everyone now is either lame or genitalia removed, a Multiverse no one asks for that clearly speaks out of their jealousy for marvel movies. I became a auther... I make stories for a living. It's hell, but even I would know how to make a story that would peek ones interest, rip out hearts in the feels, expand on crucial lores, and foreshadow where it needs to be forshadowed. Had I a chance to look at this script for how to do a remake of this caliber, it sure as shit wouldn't be this. But hey... they made a multiverse now.. I call that an opportunity to show off what I learned in my thirty years and make my own mk short stories. Still in my early fortys. I GOT TIME... ( Mic drop )
