Why isn’t the U.S. doing more to secure our borders? Ed Calderon spent 12 years policing the most violent drug cartels. PragerU CEO Marissa Streit questions him about his experience in Mexico, his concern over America’s open borders, and how our enemies are working with criminal organizations to destabilize the United States. Ed says we have a moral obligation to warn our citizens of imminent danger.

Outstanding Interview. I was first intrigued by the Video title, but I was a little too busy to commit to over an hour during the day. I planned on watching 30 minutes and then the other 45 minutes later, ended up watching the whole video. I was drawn in by Mr. Calderon's story, his level of information is so interesting and the way he openly shared the True story with no vague answers about what is really going on in America, in Mexico, with the Cartel and "how" politics runs more than the average person could ever imagine. Totally worth the watching‼️

Good interview. Nice to see Ed still maintain his beliefs and not trying to fit into just what a typical hardcore PragerU fan would want to hear. Talking facts about many things including the distrust from Latin America due to the US role in so much destabilization. I *REALLY* hope Tucker Carlson and Ed sit down for a talk. Because as much as even some conservatives now say that Tucker is "too far right", he's really not.. Almost A political in some way since he wouldn't always latch onto Trump and defend him because "he's on my side". And a lot of his true views have since came to light since his departure from Fox. I think it'd be the most enlightenment Calderon podcast to date

Shortly after the 25 minute mark they are discussing the coordination of, essentially, the attack on the US and who's involved and how it works - then she refers to her "repetitive question" of why isn't the US government making the border secure since our politicians have to be aware of all the things they are discussing here. She wonders and he confirms that they've hit a wall where designating the cartels as terrorists would allow the government to act against them - but doing so would automatically designate the Mexican government as backers of terrorism because the cartels so thoroughly influence the politicians. My question is - couldn't the US also designate the Mexican government as captive to the cartels - recognizing that some of them may (or are) committing acts that look like backing terrorism but allowing, pending investigation, that they may be acting under duress and have some protection under the law? Couldn't the US both go after the cartels AND allow that once the cartels are destroyed and the politicians are free to do as they will - they may not be threats?

I heard an interview I think with Mike Flynn that Trump was about to categorized the carteles as terrorist organization and was going to target and kill the cartel leaders as Trump did with some of the ialam radical leaders in the middle east. But once they talked to the Mexican goverment they decided to use the Mexican military to go to the US boarder to stop the migrants. So Trump didn't go after the cartel leaders after years of investigating and being on the verge to do so.

The German at the table caught on quickly that the imposter was English. I was undercover, infiltrating biker gangs in Calif when I blew my cover after ordering a beer. Almost got myself killed. I ordered an obscure pilsner and asked for a glass. But what removed all doubt was when I raised the glass to my lips, I stuck out my pinkie.

I don't think Mexican drug cartels (or any drug trafficking organisation from other countries) can ever be completely destroyed because these criminal organisations are supplying an insatiable demand from America, Europe and the rest of the "civilised" world for narcotics, not creating this demand. The deeper and more uncomfortable question we need to ask is why is there such a never ending huge demand for illegal drugs among the populations of so many countries to begin with?

The reason the USA, Australia, New Zealand, and western Europe are excellent foundational cultures and infrastructure, is because of the foundational ethno-racial-cultural 'genetics'. The mixing from other ethno-racial-cultural groups is a cause of the declines,… even though there are great upstanding people from those other cultures which align with the Euro-Western cultures. But, it's a matter of percentage. Good people in all cultures/ethnicities/races,…. and not so desireable people in all as well. Again, the matter of percentages.

PLEASE! Cartels now control most of the forest and rural areas. My family has a store in Mendota Calif and we and most of the businesses received an extortion letter in the mail. When Trump became President, almost immediately DOJ conducted a sweep and arrested 20+ MS-13 members and wrapped up multiple murders in my area. When we had a city council meeting to consider passing sanctuary status for the town, I spoke 15 minutes and successfully swayed the council to reject the resolution. Within 3 days my house was set on fire and the windows on two of our businesses were broken by a small gang.

Some of them come from the Middle East as well or Africa where many Africans/Middle East do not like Americans. Our government has decimated their countries for years and left their country impoverished. These people are also getting paid thousands of dollars. Where are they getting the money? Many people don’t want to admit, but Israeli “non-governmental organizations” are paying, such as Soros. It’s all by design. The design is the destruction of America from within. What do you think the conflict with Palestine is about? You may think Israel has good intentions… but they are using this conflict to anger the many Arabs in European nations or America to take to the streets on anger. The same Arabs/Muslims who we forced into homelessness and seek refuge here in America. What do you think is gonna happen when America finally declares war on Iran after months of politicians using violent/agitating rhetoric against Iran threatening to attack them? Who do you think helped create the idea of “cartels”? America. But unlike the other commenter thinks, you are not a moron. Your point went over his head.
