If you really think about it 4:44-5:50 is really about us growing up. We were careless and happy and as we started growing up if seemed that growing up was a bad thing; our friends leave things change and you ask yourself when will you accept it, but when you finally do accept it you realize you'll see your friends again and be happy with how you lived. Because though growing up is tough you always have the good memories. Thank you Ed, Edd, Eddy

words of wisdom my friend, CN has some of the best unkillable moments in a kid's life, you disobey your parents, go against rules, don't give a crap about what health people say, didn't do your homework, in the end it was all worth it to see what being a kid is, enjoying your vision of life

I love the whole aesthetic of Ed Edd n Eddy so much. The way the colors were so vibrant even in night scenes, the wacky expressions and crazy animation, the way the suburban houses all look like they're from the 70s, the fact that it was all the same familiar kids just getting into shenanigans... plus the gags were hilarious. I've always wanted to be able to capture the atmosphere of this show somehow in my own art!

Well, I waited for part 2 and you certainly delivered. I have to admit this show is everything I loved about cartoon network when growing up. The Eds are the endless summer that every kid wishes for. Your favorite flavor of ice cream( or Jaw Breaker) that you want to last forever. That special kite that you wish would just keep going higher and higher. One quote that I found that pretty much sums up my feelings towards my favorite cartoons. "Many of my cartoons are not a belly laugh. I go for nostalgia, the lump in the throat, the tear in the eye, the tug in the heart."- Billy Keane If it's true that the Eds are in purgatory then that just means there endless adventures will continue to go on until we ourselves look back at these memories of our past.

That clip at the end credits I actually remember that time where they had new episodes for different shows in November, I mean growin up being the only kid in my whole neighborhood I was lonely and the only thing I could turn to were cartoons I remember the days I would be sitting down eating cheez itz and having dr. pepper watching all the great shows cartoon network had like I could make a whole list like there was camp Lazlo, Courage, Dexter, Powerpuff girls, Samurai jack, Teen Titans, Code Lyoko, Foster's home for imaginary friends, Chowder, Code Named Kids Nextdoor, Grim Adventures of billy and Mandy, Martin Mystery, My Gym partners a Monkey, Ben 10 (the original version), Megas XLR, Time Squad, Johnny Bravo, Cow and Chicken, Squirrel Boy and of course Ed Edd and Eddy and I know we could still watch them with the internet or with DVD's but don't you just wish you could just go back in time relive the awesome moments when new episodes would premiere after school or late at night?. Cartoon Network died after all these shows ended nowadays we got all these abominations these so called Shows such as "We Bare Bears", Uncle Grandpa, MAD, and I used to watch Adventure time and Regular show but then they just got more lame and boring. in all seriousness RIP Cartoon Network you were the dominated the Cartoon entertainment with your rival Nickeldeon God Rest it's soul but we will never forget you Cartoon Network never.

@ChimeraKing5559 жыл бұрын
+Ryan Sullivan Hate to be that guy, but you let nostalgia blind you. Theres better quality control now than ever. It's also best to remember that almost a decade ago, fans of the 90s cartoons were bitching about the exact shows that you are praising and saying how Cartoon network had "died". Not only is Cartoon network alive, but it's doing better than ever, the new shows they have (including We bare bears) are great (and MAD is dead and gone). Years from now, when cartoon network will have different programming, there will be a new generation claiming how cartoon network has "died" while singing the praises of Adventure time, Steven Universe, Regular show, We bare bears, Clarence, Gumball and all the other show they watched as kids, because while it's fun to reminisce, that's the deadly power of nostalgia, it's got the power to make you an annoying bitch. Also Code Lyoko, Gym partner was a cheap butt joke, Fosters home full of despicable cunts, Squirrel boy, and Chowder were all bad. Hate to shit on your childhood, but they aren't as good when you take the rose tinted glasses off.

@WilfredCthulu10 жыл бұрын
AlexSuperMarioFan (This is reaaly long, sorry.) Well when his hat first falls off, Eddy says "jeese-laweese" and Ed says "cool." Based on their characters, it could be something morbid. Then on the Big Picture Show, Eddy jokes that he's blind, so it's something ugly and Ed scratches his head like he's checking if there's a scar. Edd must have hair since he pulls out a hairpin from his hat when Ed was peeling potatoes. Also he completely cries and freaks out from the dodgeball, so it was a very traumatizing event in his life. In the episode where they're having flashbacks, it shows that Edd moved into the Cul-de-sac at a young age and he had the hat. So it's possible they moved to avoid bullies (AKA who caused the incident.) So connect the dots and you end up with Edd having a traumatic life event at a young age with a dodgeball and he's always worn the hat to hide the scar.
@isobelmiller74646 жыл бұрын
I'm guessing that when he was little, some older kids picked on him and threw dodgeballs at him, and one of them cracked his head open. After that, his parents decided to move to an area that had more kids his age.

Nice to see that you've gotten around to doing this review. Ed, Edd n Eddy is THE cartoon that I loved the most growing up. I can pretty much attribute a lot of my taste in humour, my love for animation, and the fact that every notebook I own is filled to the brim with sketches and doodles to Antonuuci's creation. I still kinda wish that we got a full sixth season, and then a film, instead of that season being shelved entirely for the movie. (Not having those two completed EEnE S6 eps on iTunes bugs me.) But at the end of the day, I love everything about the show and no other piece of media can replace it in my heart...except maybe porn.

Very, very good video. That part in the video where you showed a lot of good moments throughout the series was very nostalgic and it superbly got the main theme of the series across (stay gold.) It was also quite sad seeing them through all of those years and episodes, reminding me of my childhood. I wish cartoon network would still air this series or release the series with all of the special and music videos on DVD. They should at least give their best original show of all time a little exposure, and treat the fans of it. Can't wait for the next video 2 weeks from now!

also heard another reason for the wobbly outlines was to show that even when the characters are standing completely still it makes them feel more alive by having constant movement K hearing that incredible shrinking day HIT TO HARD TOOO HARD

So, I haven't watched much Johnny Test lately, but I'm pretty sure that 1:21-1:23 was not a "normal" episode. Could someone give some pointers as to what that was?

It's a hentai parody by zone toons, it's alright if you're into that kinda thing, ( which is mostly borderline incest tentacle sex.)

hey, guys? remember in the 90s and early 2000's when they actually made cartoons with real humor, not just shock factor? good times..........

+Wesley Patterson what are you talking about. Shock Factor was the entire point of Ren & Stimpy and all it's gross out knock offs.

Out of all the cartoons I watched, this one is my most memorable. I can remember all those days spent watching these episodes on my dad's bed until he got home from work...which was about 7:00 at night. I still make my sister say my favorite lines from the show. :3

wow at 4:45 that song really hit me. I grew up watching ed edd n eddy and i believe it was the last of the old cartoons that dwindled when the reality shows and stuff kicked in. That segment when you hear the edds talking about not wanting to grow up and stay kids forever. that hit pretty hard. and when theyre show went off the air i believe i was maybe 19, arriving to college. Here i am today at 21, and yea Ive had those thoughts and feelings before. and the edds going away was in a sense the last of my childhood ending as my adulthood began. Ed Edd n Eddy was one of my most favorites. I will miss it but Im glad it had that awesome movie to end it all with a bang. I think for all of us who experienced these great shows are to not only recommend em, but remember, treasure and apply these ideas into our work we put forth into the future. Because when we ask for revamps we might end up getting something we didnt want aka Code Lyoko Evolution(shoulda stuck with the animation, no live action). Just be happy you got to experience watching these three goofballs every friday night after a long week of school along with other shows. To let things go and move on, nothing lives forever and if you heard the saying "you either die a hero or live long enough to become the villain".

I can't say I want the old CN back because the world within which that CN can exist has passed. In the ever growing market of streaming media online, TV is quickly becoming obsolete. I just hope that children might one day get to experience the dazzling, magnificent expanse of cartoons that me and many others got to have. What infuriates me more than anything is that all I ever hear kids talking about is Uncle Grandpa, TTG!, The Amazing World of Gumball, and Clarence. I can't believe I'm saying this but, When I was a kid, you could have an entire class in separate groups, all talking about cartoons and never hear the same cartoon being talked about in all the groups. When a movie would come on, it was like a Premier, with all the biggest names in cartoons showing up to watch the new movie, and now, it's like a Matinee in a theatre in some small town in the middle of nowhere for a movie that came out 4 years ago.
