I have aperts syndrome & went to a cranial facial syndrome event down in California when I was 14 & he did a guest appearance, and did a play re-enactment with someone who also has a cranial facial syndrome. He was so kind & was walking up to tables saying Hi. I was so young, never seen the show, but my parents were like omg do you know who that is? I had no idea. But I will always admire the kindness and humbleness of this man. To come to an event to support people with cranial facial disabilities & to go up to tables to say Hi.

Actually, Franco came in 3 years after Ed was cut by the Steelers. Ed was cut in 1969, Franco came to Pittsburgh in 1972.
