i am on the way to perfect the British accent and it is always a conundrum, until I found this channel, I was so impressed of you narrating and articulating the nuance between sounds, and it's very subtly....yesterday my colleague asked me if I can tell her how to have an English accent and i was so shocked coz it was my first time to make me feel proud of my improvements. And so on, thanks to your videos, now I discovered tons of brand new pages to kick off the master of RP as well.

Your story is beautiful. I learned a great deal in your lesson today. I've watched it twice and I intend to re-watch it many times just so the contents get a chance to sink in. Thank you, Lucy. Some teachers do not pronounce the word 'pronunciation' properly. This was the word that helped me decide you would make a good teacher. You are. Such a great lesson Lucy. Students knowing the differences of regular verb endings will definitely help with their pronunciation and awareness of phonetics. It would be great to see a video on sentence stress and how this can change the contextual meaning: 1. I bought a GREEN jumper (not a red one) 2. I bought a green JUMPER (not a skirt) 3. I BOUGHT a green jumper (didn't sell it) Anyhow, great video and I hope all is well with you and your family. Take care and stay safe.
