Is it just me or is his 6th string really wobbly? And your guitar is beautiful!
@DaTrueSenpai
@DaTrueSenpai Жыл бұрын
i dont remember the specifics but if you record with your camera at a certain frequenzy or hertz of something, the string will look wobbly in general. This is something people do a bit in acoustic videos to make it look weird/cool.

for anybody having trouble with the strumming, i find repeating the pattern for the first g, or the first strumming pattern he teaches you works quite well when used with all the other chords as well (obviously you will have to time each accordingly) naturally it won't sound identical to the track but it sounds close enough to where you wouldn't notice a difference unless you are looking for it, hope this helped =3

If you think your singing is no good that you don't sing in your video, think again. You have a great voice, and this is a very helpful video. Thanks a lot! :) you can sing on your upcoming videos so we will better know when we should insert the singing part. :)

The "B-thing" you are talking about is called a D/F# chord or a D chord with a F# in the bass. But it's still a great video :)
@SmithyJRBand
@SmithyJRBand 11 жыл бұрын
That chord you keep calling a B chord is really a Dsus4/F# (a D chord with substituted 4th note, meaning the pinky on the third fret of the high e string and with a F# as it's root, meaning the thumb/first finger on the second fret of the low E string); but real nice tutorial though! :) Keep it up!

Earthquaker100 I think what he means is that the pictures of the chords show that from the G, your index and middle fingers should move to strings 3 and 6 (G and E) in the 2nd fret, but in the video he plays it with his fingers on 4th and 6th strings..

I cannot find the strumming pattern for the chorus...? Might I suggest you also split your video in clickable parts to find chorus, etc? Because in the first few minutes you talk about first part, then second part of the song, then further on you talk about the strumming... but of the first part.. So it gets confusing and cumbersome to find different parts again.. But of course as it is, it's a great tutorial! Thanks again!

this is good but im sure someones told you already, when u have a capo, u should still say what the fret is relative to the Capo. Or in other words, pretend the capo'd fret is the new open string. example the G chord on with the capo on the 2nd fret, u would say 3-2-0-0-3-3 not 5-4-0-0-5-5 that way wherever the capo is or if there isnt one, they can play according to what the chord pattern is
