I know it's very unlikely for the official Sheeran Guitars YT channel to reply to this comment but I have a question and I’ve got to ask it anyway: why does it seem like the Lowden guitars Ed Sheeran uses on his concerts (Sheeran by Lowden Tour Edition, Equals Edition, W02, etc.) are CONSIDERABLY thinner depth-wise, than the ones on sale via Sheeran Guitars website? Not only that, but the saddle on Ed’s guitars are also half cut, just like the high-end Lowden models (Wee Lowden 35 for example), unlike the ones on sale, since their saddles are one single piece. I recently purchased a Sheeran by Lowden W02 and I'm starting to feel like the product I bought has NOTHING to do with the model Ed claims to “use” on tour. I’m such a huge Ed Sheeran’s fan and I feel so sad and frustrated that only now did I realize the guitar I bought is DEFINITELY not the model he uses on stage, it's not even close to be honest. My point is: all the features in the guitars Ed Sheeran uses on stage (thinner depth, fancy bindings, half cut saddle, five-piece laminated neck) are ALL FOUND in the high-end Lowden guitars (Wee Lowden Series). The worst part is that those guitars (Sheeran by Lowden) are advertised as being the “guitars Ed Sheeran uses on stage!”, even though the ones he uses are the high-end Lowden models, with “Sheeran” written on the headstock. It’s so misleading to the point it feels almost illegal. Why was it done like that? Why does Ed Sheeran mention he plays Sheeran by Lowden, and those instruments are advertised as “guitars Ed uses on stage”, when he actually uses a set of personalized Wee Lowdens (Wee Lowden 35)? Why would Ed and George do that? I’m sorry if I sounded impolite or pissed off, It’s just that I thought the product I bought from Sheeran Guitars, was at least similar to the ones Ed Sheeran plays.

I've heard from a few sound techs that work for Ed's show that his stage guitars, the thinner depth you mentioned, are made only for use on stage and plugged in. Apparently they don't sound amazing acoustically due to the very small body size and the sound hole being smaller as well. Also they are sometimes more prone to feedback because of this George Lowden also mentioned that the early Wee-Lowdens sounded ideal plugged in through their pickup system. Definitely a different thinner version for his stage performances, however, I have seen Ed live and he does use regular( or what seem like regular thickness) Sheeran by Lowden guitars for bigger songs like photograph where he wants a bigger sound. He did play acoustic with one of his customer thinner body guitars near the end of the show and it did have a slightly small-tinny sound but sounded good nonetheless. Was honestly surprised at the size and thinness of it. The top of the body near the neck is even thinner in depth then the bridge end of the body. Hope this helps some :)

I also don’t like how the fretboard you get could look amazing or look already worn out because of the way they use the ebony… Like I’m buying a new guitar I want my ebony fretboard to be black not discolored… Probably a minor thing for others but it bugs me to the point of second guessing buying the guitar…

Can you sell so many more GL-10s? I really really want one but I cannot get anywhere And the S-03 with Indian Rosewood that I've already got is wonderful so thank you so much for your great work!
