This year I’d like to revisit some of the songs I covered very early on this channel, not just re recording them but creating new & improved arrangements! I thought I’d start the year with such a video, so here’s one I originally covered way back in 2015! P.S. Afterglow happened to be released soon after I started working on this… I wasn’t sure which to do first so perhaps I’ll cover that one at some point soon too 😅

I was recently given your 7 years tab for Christmas after aspiring to b able to play it for a long time. I can now play it almost in its entirety but have noticed I'm putting in less and less time into polishing it off. Only a couple of days ago I realised it's because I didn't want to - for so long it's been my goal in my guitar playing to be able to play that idk if I actually wanted to finish without having something else to aim for. I think I just found that something else. 🙏

A seemingly simple song but difficult to play in a fingerstyle if you arrange it similar to the original( combining the rhythm ang melody). I'm sure you had a tough time arranging it but turned out wonderful.
