They’re gonna sell a lot of these. The fact that it’s an audio interface as well makes it even better. I’ve been looking at the Boss RC500 but thinking I’ll go with this one

This is one of those rare occasions where you aren't paying for a brand but for a fantastic product with a brand behind it. Bravo to Sheeran and his team. Yowzers.

I’m getting larger one. The DAW like features and export is what I wanted for quick creative situations and then export it to my DAW later 🙂

Does it quantize? Will it sync with midi to a drum machine like the Beat Buddy? I have a Beat Buddy and an Aeros Loop studio that sync and quantize reasonably well. Problem is the Aeros looper is overkill for how I loop, and it has a workflow I’ve never warmed up to. The screen is hard to read, and it doesn’t have an xlr input. This little looper looks almost perfect for my needs. Quantizing isn’t a deal-breaker, but it smooths things out a bit if you’re a little early or late with your footwook. It’s also important to know if you can change the switch actuation to function on “press” or “release” it sounds like a minor issue, but trust me - if you’re used to a looper that “press” and switch to one that’s “release” it WILL screw up your timing unless you re-train yourself (no thanks!)

I’ve been wondering same. Also, Beat Buddy has all the “cover” source material. Task and purpose. Cover band vs “creator”. Ever forget what you played? I put a splitter on my acoustic. Runs straight into a digital recorder. I’m also trying to mix Fishman Triple play DAW output. Like making the jump from juggling three balls to five or six.

Can you use the input nobs as volume level after recording your loops ?
@YklipY7 ай бұрын
Used the Boss RC - 30 for years. Bought this as an upgrade and slightly frustrating that you cannot stop A or B track seperately as the other one continues to play without an additional footswitch. Or have i completely missed the mark there?

Does it keep the loop storage? I mean is it possible to turn on and continue with melody for verses on 1 and chorus on 2? You get the point?

It looks like there's no separate knobs to control your loop level, like the Boss VE8, Rc600 or RC500. Is that the case?. I see input level control,but no loop level control.

Is there a computer interface app that will allow you to transfer a wave file to the looper memory and name the file rather than the default name of Loop A or Loop B etc?

got the looper Sheeran plus The midi sync input in the back of unit does not work with drum machines like the beat buddy and others like other loopers do.

This does in fact work with Beat Buddy. There are already videos on KZbin demonstrating this.

It’s a bloody looper pedal
@clemmens968211 ай бұрын
Large foot pedals like the old Boss Twin-Pedals like the RC-20, RC-20XL, RC-30 - so nice. I hate the tiny silver foot switches on loopers these days, they are harder to use. I had a RC-500 and sold it because the foot switches were the tiny silver buttons. I ordered one just now, the large pedals on it pushed me to give it a try. This will probably retire my RC-20XL and RC-30.

Who even listens to ginger nuts? Guys who never owned a rock album?
@DebowyMocny11 ай бұрын
Difficult to digest your comment but are you asking “who even listens to Ed Sheeran”? If that’s the case, the answer is millions of people across the globe, with his average of 70+ millions of listeners per month. I don’t personally, but you don’t need to play Ed Sheeran style music to use the looper. This is a gear demo, not Ed’s promo… the gear only loops back what you feed into it. Hope that helps!

Fucking love his first three records, he also did a ton of collabs across the industry (Cradle of Filth one is coming out next year). Mr. Sheeran takes me to a different place musically, sometimes a welcome - albeit brief - break from bleak suicidal black metal and Japanese EDM-core I listen to daily. Also - great live.
