I love Ed's sound. He gives off this old school vibe you don't hear in a lot of music today. He has the right voice, and when he switches his sound up just a but like he did here, it still gives off that Ed Sheeran vibe. He's one of the few musicians who treats music as an art. And that's what I love about this guy's music.

Dude, not everybody has to like his music. There will always be fanboys/fangirls and also haters. You can't have one without having the other.
@horsecrazy226610 жыл бұрын
ShadyFoX 713 I understand that, but I meant the people who liked his first album but not the second. I don't understand what's so bad about this though. It's just him expressing himself in a different way. That's what music is, forms of expression. So. Also, if you're implying that I'm a fangirl, I don't appreciate that. There are people who appreciate the music as well as the qualities of the person without obsessing over the person. I know his songs and I've seen most of his interviews, but I don't have any books about him and the only thing I really know "about him" is that he's from Ireland. I know his character/personality really well, but I don't know random facts about Ed Sheeran. That's what I call to be a fangirl.

No, I don't wanna hate you Just wish you'd never gone for the man And waited two weeks at least Before you let him take you I stayed true I kind of knew you liked the dude from private school He's waiting for the time to move I knew he had his eyes on you He's not the right guy for you Don't hate me cause I write the truth No I would never lie to you But it was never fine to lose you And what a way to find out It never came from my mouth You never changed your mind But you were just afraid to mind out But fuck it, I won't be changing the subject I love it I'll make your little secret public it's nothing I'm just disgusted with the skeletons you sleep with in your closet to get back at me Trapped and I'm lacking sleep Fact is you're mad at me because I backtrack so casually You're practically my family If we married then I'll guess you'd have to be But tragically our love just lost the will to live But would I kill to give it one more shot I think not I don't love you baby I don't need you baby I don't want you no Anymore I don't love you baby I don't need you baby I don't wanna love you no Anymore Recently I tend to zone out Up in my headphones to Holocene You promised your body but I'm away so much I stay more celibate than in a monastery I'm not cut out for life on the road Cause I didn't know I'd miss you this much And at the time we'd just go, so sue me I guess I'm not the man that you need Ever since you went to uni I've been sofa surfing with a rucksack Full of less cash and I guess that could get bad But when I broke the industry That's when I broke your heart I was supposed to chart and celebrate But good things are over fast I know it's hard to deal with and see this I tend to turn you off and switch on my professional features Then I turn the music off And all I'm left with is to pick up my personal pieces, Jesus I never really want to believe this Got advice from my dad and he Told me that family is all I'll ever have and need I guess I'm unaware of it Success is nothing if you have no one left to share it with I don't love you baby I don't need you baby I don't want you no Anymore I don't love you baby I don't need you baby I don't wanna love you no Anymore And since you left I've given up my days off It's what I need to stay strong I know you have a day job But mine is 24/7 I feel like writing a book I guess I lied in the hook Cause I still love you and I need you by my side if I could The irony is if my career and music didn't exist In 6 years, yeah, you'd probably be my wife with a kid I'm frightened to think if I depend on cider and drink And lighting a spliff I fall into a spiral and it's Just hiding my misguiding thoughts that I'm trying to kill And I'd be writing my will before I'm 27 I'll die from a thrill Go down in history as just a wasted talent Can I face the challenge Or did I make a mistake erasing? It's only therapy My thoughts just get ahead of me Eventually I'll be fine I know that it was never meant to be Either way I guess I'm not prepared But I'll say this These things happen for a reason and you can't change shit Take my apology I'm sorry for the honesty But I had to get this off my chest I don't love you baby I don't need you baby I don't want you no Anymore I don't love you baby I don't need you baby I don't wanna love you no Anymore

It's one of my favourite songs because it has a bit of everything, and the lyrics are uniquely amazing.

This is the most hard-hitting song on the album "If I depend on cider and drink, and lighting a spliff, I fall into a spiral and it's just hiding my misguiding thoughts that I've been tying to kill, i'll be writing my will before I'm 27, ill die from the thrill"

I love how he posts in KZbin a lot of his songs, just with the audio. Is like he wants to everybody could listen to his music without buying the album. I find it pretty admirable. I mean´he probably will lost money this way, but he does it anyway. And people still ask me why i love him

Waiting for all the ignorant comments about how much he's "changed"... This actually sounds a lot like the songs on your ep's from years ago :) love it!

By far one of the best Ed Sheeran songs.

All these hate comments, wtf you don't like it that's fine. Their is a dislike button for a reason, the comments are here for people to express their feelings and thoughts on his songs. Ed kills it no matter what he sings, this guy is a inspiration to me and a inspiration to all of us. More of us should become more like him and stop hating on everything, i know you guys like to show what you think of it but seriously. You have nothing nice to say, don't say it.

Hey sorry but that's not how it works: comments are made to let people express their opinion, be it like yours or not, be it a positive or a negative one.

ArkantosNilsson I just wanted to say that, thanks. ;) Tinkbrew WorldofWarcraft It's funny how you said they can share their opinion and then you contradicted it. xD

It's "there" not "their" -_-
@f0xyLuv10 жыл бұрын
Just Gracie No, it's "their". Because THERE is a difference between there, they're and their. There means in a certain place. They're means they are. Their is a possesive form for the 3rd person of the plural. And sorry, but you must be a dumbass who knows no grammar.
@JustGracie10 жыл бұрын
It's "there". What is possessive in the sentence? It's not "their".

Everything about this song is amazing. He raps with a flow and each and single words in the lyrics are very powerful especially for this sentence; "Success is nothing if you have no one there to share it with." I don't understand how people can say his rapping is bad while they can't rap themselves. I guess some really don't know talent but rather listen to aggressive rapers that pertains to girls as "hoes" and "bitches." Even though I haven't really listened to his old albums but I love this song. Well, he spoke to my heart and that's enough for me to say I will always love Ed Sheeran's music. He might lose many fans but these people were never fans to begin with. I am his fan and I will support his music because his songs speaks to me like it did to the 16.936 people who liked the song.

Its funny, people say Ed isnt good. What they dont know is that they suck at lying. Ed is a great singer. True talent. Most people in this world cant sing half as good as him.
