***** ah i see. i started playing piano when i was 12, my teacher did intervals and i had to guess what interval it is but i never got it right XD if i'm correct, that must have been a pure luck bcs i'm rly bad in musical senses. so finding the pitch takes practice, right? hmm, thank you for the reply *v*

I think it kinda helps when you've had no formal training cause u kinda think out of the box. I play by ear too but I think it's so much harder to follow a sheet and play at the same time. I tried doing it but my eyes and hands just don't co-ordinate like that lol

Beautiful song, piano music/playing/lyrics and the title Thinking Out Loud is something I do all the time, and am guilty of, words are so powerful and it is difficult to select the correct ones, without ability to delete/edit when one....is thinking out loud. And I love that one can learn these songs on "flowkey" without a walkman, tape, or sheet music....all of that has been put together for anyone interested, like me, on computor......new to me as of today. Fabulous!

For those that want the chords, the first verse is D,G,A and i think the key of the song is D Major so for the melody just play the notes from the D Major scale over those chords. The bridge looks like it goes Em7, Bm, A.. Hope this helps

Love it! Can I ask how you record your sound - is it the "real" sound which comes out or do you record as a MIDI to the computer and use a sequencing software? If so, which do you use? I've just bought an electric keyboard and it just doesn't sound right on the free sequencer Pianissimo.. Thanks :)

Hi. The sound is recorded onto a USB as a midi file, not the actual speakers on the piano. I wear headphones to hear what I'm playing. Then I mix the audio and video file, overlap them on a software on my computer called Sony Vegas Pro. It's the best software I've found but I'm sure there are others out there.

Hi Simple iphone 5S to record the video. The sound is recorded onto a USB as a midi file, I then overlap the two on a computer software called SonyVegasPro. Best way I've found as there's no background noise/vibration/echo this way.
