My sister is named Vega, she has cranial facial dysplasia and isn’t able to develop past a 4th grade level despite being 23. This song actually made my parents cry because it reminded them of when she was first born. It makes it worse because this song was released right around the time we found out she needs facial reconstruction surgery and we have no idea how we’re going to pay for it. Thank you for giving my family a vice and a signal to keep going because it’s been rough for a long time and we’re only just getting started.

One of the most beautiful, moving, and heartbreaking songs I've ever heard... Also, I will never stop being amazed at your vocal abilities and your harmonies, absolute heaven to the ears... This whole album is perfection (and I only started getting into your music properly only recently - thank God I have!!) I wish I had gotten it last autumn when I was suffering from depression (for many reasons, my grandma and Dad dying within a year being the greatest of them) because I'm sure I wouldn't have felt so alone in my grief. As you surely know very well, sometimes even the greatest love from those who love us the most can't fight the demons hiding in our heads. I couldn't even properly define what was going on with me, but as I finally listened to this album after I got the CD a few days ago, it just hit me like a truck, especially knowing what you were going through when writing it... You are a genius in everything artistic you do, but your song/lyrics writing is just out of this world. It's like The Little Prince came down to Earth and poured his aching heart out to us, opening our eyes and souls and putting into words what we really feel but can't/aren't ready to recognise... Not since Michael Jackson have I felt so inspired and emotionally connected to any artist, though there are many I love, mainly the ones from the 80s and 90s. I said it somewhere else already, but I'll say it again, Ed. You will never really know just how MUCH what you do and who you are as a human being means to the world. Thank you for being so brave and sharing your struggles, not just victories with us. Charles Dickens said, "No one is useless in this world who lightens the burdens of another." You are one of those people who are THE definition of those words. THANK YOU so much, and I wish you and your lovely family only the best, God knows you deserve it... ♥
