I appreciate you singing this song i lost my Mom in 2017 lost my 13 year old granddaughter in 2019 and lost my Dad in 1987. I have lost all my grandparents I am a only child so after I lost my Mom I was heartbroken she had always lived next to me she never learned how to drive so I took her everywhere. But when I lost my granddaughter my heart really broke she was born with mitochondria disease and had cerebral palsy. She fought everyday of her life but she always had a smile on her face. She was one special little girl. She had more than 3000 people come see her at her showing not because she was famous not because ate family was famous they just met her from going to the car race's on the weekends her Dad was a tow truck driver for different race's the driver's all got to know the family and especially her. She spent half of her life in the hospital so they all knew how sick she was. They would give her their trophies to make her smile. She had them in her room. He also worked for the bigger race's at the Indianapolis 500. They would sign different things for her so she had them in her room. It was so special to her she would point to them since she couldn't say very many words. She had a trach and a feeding tube placed when she was very young. So thank you for sharing this song with us. She passed away in September of 2019. Means alot you singing this. Love you both 💓 💗

If only heaven had visiting hours, I would have such a wonderful time visiting. All of my grandparents (whom I never had the joy of meeting) my parents, my 4 siblings and my 3 beautiful children. Oh the joy we will have someday. But then I will joyously await my husband and sons. What a reunion we will have❤️🙏🏻🥰. This song gets me emotional so perfectly describes losing a loved one. Ed Sheeran first performed it in Australia at the funeral of an Australian music legend, at the time I was still mourning the loss of an aunty and it really hit home, it still does now as much as it did then and even moreso throughout covid and what we have endured here in Melbourne. Brings a tear to my eye everytime I hear it it's so beautiful written and your cover is so beautifully sung. Would be good to hear some country... Carrie underwood, Ashley McBryde, Thomas Rhett a couple of my favourite artists that have some beautiful and meaningful songs.

This song hit my heart hard. Couldnt stop the tears from flowing. I just buried my sister two weeks ago. My heart is grieving deeply. My brother was driving to work last week. He said suddenly something was drawing him to come and see his two sisters. So he did. What an amazing two days we had. The tears, the laughter. I haven’t heard this yet but ur voice and his playing was beautiful! My fiancé and I both lost our moms one year apart and it’s been the hardest thing we’ve ever been thru and no matter how much time goes by we still feel the loss and the void every single day! My kids don’t have any of their grandmothers now not their great grandmas or maternal or paternal grandmothers and it’s so heartbreaking. I lost both of mine at four years old they both died six days apart so my parents went thru the loss of their moms together as well. I don’t think I would’ve made it through it if my fiancé wasn’t by my side. I also lost my Pap who was my world! I’ve had a LOT of loss in my life…..but I know they are waiting in Heaven until we meet again. God bless you and ur little guy and may u find what’s causing him discomfort and I pray he feels much better and more calm
