I mean, with Willow's parents we see the Boiling Isles doesn't have any same sex hang ups. Or at least not any as strong as most people thought they would. But given as the Blights seem as some 'proper' family they still might. The important thing is Luz's REAL mom almost certainly wouldn't have an issue with it.

Meaning that you can't just watch "I was Once a Teenage Abomination" and then jump to "Through the Looking Glass Ruins" and not be completely lost. Like, wasn't Amity about to get Luz dissected just to suck up to the principal? When did she start being nice to her? Who are those two green haired characters that look similar to Amity? What significance do they have to the show? And why is one of them brushing her hair? Why did Amity change her hair? AND DID AMITY JUST KISS LUZ???!!! 😱😱😱 WHAT IS GOING ON???? So you HAVE to watch the show in order so that you understand why the characters are doing what they're doing in this particular episode, which should be fine because if you think about it, you get more views that way.
