The demon used their fears to kill them, first guy feared he was nothing without his armor hence the armor pulling the human out and killing him, the third, Metarus, picked Titus, the last guy, to become a space marine and feared he’d become corrupted and kill him, but Titus knew no fear and the demon had nothing to use against him

I interpreted it that he feared he was too human or something or other. Hence him killing the human, the humanity he perceives as weak, and taking the damage himself.

I think him not knowing fear helps, but in other media he's shown just general chaos resistance so I think beyond having no fear he has Big E's blessing or something.

The kid walking with the sword, that is the combat knife he uses to kill the demon just for size reference. To a human that’s a sword, to a space marine it’s a knife.

Basically, yeah. To 99% of the people who watched this show, Warhammer 40K's episode IS Secret Level; the rest are just icing on the cake. Episode 5 carried this show like Atlas carrying the world fr. The success of this episode was so big that Amazon immediately greenlit that live-action show starring Henry Cavill (that was on the verge of being scrapped because of it's very rough history finalizing the deal between GW and Amazon).

The purity seals burn in the presence of Chaos, which is also responsible for the gravity shift; the warp's adherence to physics is... selective. The first marine died due to a kind of imposter syndrome, hence THE LIE now engraved on his armour. Metaurus feared Titus would turn to Chaos, and was thus betrayed. But Titus himself has no fear for the daemon sorceror to exploit, and it suffered the consequences. Interesting point, the blade Titus killed the daemon with is the same blade he was dragging along as a child.

How noble must an Astartis be for the Emperor to speak to him personally(In Space Marine 2) This is a great honor that only a limited number of people have achieved in the last ten thousand years. The final scene, when Childe Titus running into the darkness, with Astartes' knife in hand, was fearless, brave, and full of hope. Like a spark in the darkness, the Emperor smile on the golden throne😊.Because Titus represented a true Astartes and what the Emperor expected of Astartes.

yeah space marine 2 is a must for sure, it’s probably my goty and even if the campaign isn’t the longest it is still a cinematic masterpiece at moments and you can tell it’s a real love letter to fans of 40k. the multiplayer mode also has missions directly proportional throughout the campaign so u see a different view of through a different space marine except your doing a different objectives than the campaign as well, typically helping Titus

Space Marine 2 has so much replayability even after the campaign. Havent enjoyed a campaign like SM2s in years. It was about 12-13 hours at least of gameplay for the campaign for me. The PVE is what wakes me up in the morning. Just finished maxing out all my characters since launch this week.

The sorcerer used their fears against them..the 1st guy was afraid of being nothing without the armor so he crushed his own head, Mataurus fear was that Titus would become a chaos marine and so he was stabbed by chaos Titus, Titus had no fear in his hearts so he wasn't affected..

the 40k universe is soo lore dense that it takes alot of time to digest... also yes "4 of them" will be more the sufficient for the task given. The "Mad Max" looking people is what majority of newcomers think of them, Are actually typical chaos controlled heretics. cant get anymore generic foot soldiers than them. They are firing ".75 calibre" rocket propelled ammunition. meanwhile the 4 soldiers "Astartes" are using ammunition equivalent to the size of IRL 40mm grenade ammunition for grenade launchers, except its rocket propelled. Hence the giant mess at the start of the engagements of then being ripped from their bikes and torso + lower half of the body being ripped in two. And then the things dying with the blue bioluminescent blood and the end boss are followers of the chaos god "Tzeentch" who is the changer of ways, deception, lies, trickery, evolution etc etc this isnt even a smell let alone a taste of how deep warhammer 40k goes

Without spoiling the games too much titus is also chaos resistant in addition to knowing no fear, if you go back and look you will see that titus's pupil didn't dilate, for example. There's things that happen that hint at why he's chaos resistant in the games but nothing is explicitly said. I think Big E is giving him some measure of protection against the warp personally.

There’s no confirmed canon reason why Titus (the marine who resisted the demon, also the MC of Space marine 1 and 2) is so resistant to chaos. Both games he just seems to shrug chaos off, so the community head canon at this point is simply that he’s Him 😂

There are several similar instances in 40k where Space Marines become immune to Chaos, the Sons of Dorn Chapter Master intakes some Tyranid Tyrant blood, or the Grey Knights Ferrymen, but otherwise is more a matter of will and Faith, and even some Custodes were turned by Chaos in the Siege Of Terra. A simple explanation would be a Blank bloodline for Titus, but that's never been explored in 40k lore before, why not use Blanks and Pariahs to create Space Marines immune to Chaos.

If you want some good lore videos of 40K to listen to while you workout/game, look up Arch, Luetin09 and Baldemort. Arch and Luetin09 are dedicated lore goblins who'll give you the best lore videos online. Baldemort does great lore videos, his Fall of Cadia video is an adrenaline pumping listen. Arch has done some great documentary styled videos on some of the wars in 40K as well, taking you through the Siege of Vraks, The Badab War and is currently doing the Sabbat Worlds Crusade.
