Everyone is basically Alpharius, posing as Omegon, who is posing as Alpharius, who thinks he is Omegon but is a sleeper Agent faking Alpharius, who is actually Omegon, who is posing as Alpharius, but that's also a lie in the end.

@@BeatmasterAC My headcanon is that both Alpharius and Omegon are dead, but in death have fused into a gestalt that exists in the background of every Alpha Legion marine's mind, providing guidance and taking control when needed and holding information that the Marine can't risk knowing or doesn't need to know for now, basically running Alpharius.exe as a background application. That way, every Alpha Marine is lying when they say "I am Alpharius" (Alpharius is dead) but also telling the truth (He exists as an ambient spirit in my mind and I can Be Alpharius whenever I need to)

This video was before Lion El'Jonson returned as well and he's been doing a great job restoring the old legacy of the Dark Angels and even redeeming The Fallen who haven't completely sided with chaos. Back in 30k The Dark Angels and the Lion could very well be considered pound for pound the best of the best during the Crusade, but due to his own mistreatment of them and some very poor decisions during the heresy they fell from grace during the Heresy. This culminated in basically a mini heresy with his chaos corrupted godfather Luthor putting Lion in a coma, and their homeworld of Caliban being "destroyed". Lion only woke up just recently, and he's aged a lot unlike the others due to not being kept in any kind of stasis or chaos influence, so he's much weaker. Despite that he's battled his demons, united worlds, and eventually went to aid the fight against chaos during the Arks of Omen where he fought his brother Angron and narrowly achieved victory thanks to the shield of his father.

The 2nd and 11th legions were removed from history by The Emperor's command. No-one really knows anything about them but they are hinted at in the Horus Heresy books but never more than a single sentence with whole books apart. Originally this was cause in the very early days of 40k, they were left blank for a self insert of a legion of your own design. But now we are being drip fed info about them.

TL;DR: We, the audience, don't know what happened to the 2nd and 11th Legions. White Dwarf 151 gives some hints that they were involved in the Rangda Xenocides, after which the "Edict of Obliteration" was enacted upon them. The Emperor also erased the memory of the events, which led the 2nd and 11th Primarchs to fall from the minds of all other Primarchs, except for The Lion and maybe Russ.

If memory serves (no pun intended), Sanguinius and Rogal Dorn also remember them at points during the end of the Great Crusade and the beginning of the Heresy. Sanguinius makes a veiled reference to being worried the Blood Angels will be obliterated too due to their tainted geneseed, and Rogal Dorn remembers that he's not supposed to remember the 2nd and 11th.

Hey ED my man...now that youre done with the introductions of factions, lore and all that...i think youre ready to tackle some of the fan made 40k series.... So im gonna give you a must watch list of fanmade stuff: -astartes: astartes is "the" ultimate warhammer fanmade animation. It was done by a single guy and that guy is the one that worked on the secret level chapter of 40k... Its an animation of a few minutes and is absolute peak -tts (the emperor text to speech): this is a must watch series of any 40k fan...its basically a parody comedy series in wich the emperor gets a text to speech and basically reacts to all the bullshit that has happened during all tjis time. Is a great series of comedy for us 40k fans and it teaches some of tje lore altough i wouldnt take it as a trusted source. -for last im going to put hellsreach...aka the prepare to cry series.... If you like halo reach this has that same feeling. Ias 2 hours long fan made animated series focused on tje second war of armageddon betwen the orks and the black templars. Starring one of the greatest black templars characters; grimaldus.. I would recommend angels of death but sadly that is hidden behind the discount netflix rip off of gw warhammer + wich is a complete scam... But yeah...i recommend you react to these

Bricky has a 40K timeline & 40K Factions explained (2 parts) videos. He has a nice format but when done with those, if you want deep dive long format videos there are channels like Luetin & Arch. Sleep aid maybe but informative nonetheless. Also, a basic Space Marine can't stand against Master Chief but a named Space Marine or Primarch would be a good fight cause plot armor is a very dangerous weapon they wield

Not every space marine stayed loyal to their legion, squads to entire company’s broke away from their legions and become bands of Blackshields. Ranging from being basically space pirates to Marines from traitor legions staying loyal to their emperor and fighting against their own legion. Often some black shield bands would be made of mairnes from multiple deferent legions as well. Most would strip their armor of marking and cover it in black.

If you want some good Horus Heresy videos, listen to Leutin09's "Emperor Of Man" series. It's 3 videos that do a perfect job at summing up the birth of the Imperium up to the end of the Heresy. And as a plus, he is a British man with a very soothing voice. Also, if you wanna see some really cool Warhammer animations, check out "Astartes" and "Helsreach: The movie". The movie is actually pretty long, about 2.5 hours, but Astartes is only 20 minutes or so.

I recommend you watch the video 40k Timeline EXPLAINED. Everything You NEED to Know! By Weshammer. It's a 50 minute video detailing all the major events that happened in 40k. Weshammer's videos are more dense than Bricky's but he still does a great job explaining stuff. I also highly recommend his Warhammer Horror videos, those are some of my favorite stories.

Mmmm, I'd say it's more of a 60-40, in favor of the Space Marine & ever so slightly higher if the Spartan is facing a Primaris instead of a Firstborn. The problem about this comparison is that Spartan armor is fairly consistent in its representation, but power armor for the marine are either weak as shit or strong as fuck, and it depends on each book with different writers. Still, on average, I'll give it to the Astartes/Primaris
