I think he was using a Gen5 Glock 34/x300u holster for that. It works for the OZ9/x300u pretty nicely, though it's not 100% perfect.

Most Atlas' will fit in the staccato holster options that correlate with the barrel length. The only issue might be the thumb safety if you have an oversized one.

We don't have specific options for them because they don't fit perfectly. We only test fit the holsters with the actual guns if it's listed on the website. But I will say the Staccato holster options do seem to fit Atlas' fairly well.

Will someone please explain why you would want to carry a G45 vs a G17? Most people i see with the G45 have an x300, TLR1, or Modlite, that extends the length of the gun anyways. Im just looking for actual reasons, not trying to be a nay sayer. I personally carry a G26, I like the small profile and it works for me. It seems the G45 took over the place of the G19 for some folks.

Probably just preference. Some people feel like the shorter barrel and slide is more comfortable than a longer gun. And others might like the recoil impulse of the g19/45 and the way the slide reciprocates. Just preference.

A lot of you guys seem to prefer to carry open emitter optics on your pistols. How do you clean/mitigate the debris/dead skin/body hair that accumulates. I love the ease of cleaning a closed emitter, but like Mr. “Likes the feeling of 5 inches in his pants” bigger is better if possible. I just hated the occasional draw to find a dirty optic, but I’d prefer the size of the sro for performance reasons. Any maintenance/cleaning tips greatly appreciated.

Its unavoidable but also not an issue. Wipe it at the beginning of the day and the end of the day if you feel the need

I don't think any of us have ever experienced an actual problem with an open emitter get obstructed by anything. But like the other guy said, you typically just have to wipe it off with a microfiber or t-shirt every now and then.

I keep a can of compressed air and a lens pen by my lockboxes and safes. A quick blast and brush out is usually all it takes to get it fully serviceable. I’ve actually never had an issue with scratching an optic, but as a hobbyist car detailer, I can’t bring myself to wipe something with a cloth until I’ve removed any grit that might be on it.

​@pbunt1911 i ruined an RMR after constantly wiping it clean with a lens cloth at the beginning of each day. I work in a very dirty environment. They seem touse some type of anti scratch coating. Once it was wore away it scratched up in no time. I only used compressed air on the daily, and only wipe clean if truly necessary. It took years before I had an issue, but sucks Trijicon won't cover it and wants almost the same amount as buying new.

I would love to see some content on what pants the tier 1 team likes to utilize to carry this gear efficiently. That’s my biggest struggle. I carry 2 iPhones, AirPods, wallet, EDC Pouch, knife, keys. And never have enough pocket space. I know I know, Vertx this and Vertx that. But who can afford enough Vertx apparel to make it through a whole work week? 🤣

I did. Saved up and bought what I needed from Vertx. Wearing a full Vertx ensemble right now. Socks, pants, shirt, bag. Will do the same the rest of the week. Awesome gear. But yes pricy. But if you want/need it you can find a way to afford it. A few items at a time. Buy when they have sales, like right now!

Best freaking holster ever made. I had one for my sig p938. I sold it due to financial reason had to sell the gun and holster. I even made $115 bucks onnthe holster used. I carry a springfiled prodigy 4.25 with a surefire x300 and holoson eps msr green red dot. In a crappy 50 dollar holster. Dont do what i did if you can afford it. I wish i could afford this new model apx . I love the alpine white . That's what I had for my sig. Very clean look. Don't look or buy any other holster your search is over for your edc holster tust me. I know from experience.if I ever have the funds one day ill get the new apx and I'll besure and do a honest review for everyone but i know i will love it. Get a T1C holster even the owb are incredible my buddy has one I am so jelious. Maybe one day I'll beable to get my alpine white apx for my prodigy 4.25. I even have their top edc belt it's incrediable as well. It stretches so most confrortbale edc belt I have ever used and I have alot of them. I even use it when not carrying ITS THAT GREAT. Ill do a review on my channel soon ON BELT since i have one and show you how awesome it is. For the record I don't work for T1C. I just love thier products and appreicate a great company and want to see them do great in the future which i know they will. . Oh and customer service is as good as products after sale.

Everyone has their preference! A couple of the guys here have been running the new Zev OZ9 V2's pretty hard lately and they have been running flawlessly. Probably 20-30k rounds collectively between 4 different models. They shoot insanely well. Miles' and Colin's G45 are sweet too.
