I put the 365XL Wilson combat grip on my Xmacro comp the day I got it 16 months ago. Sold the macro grip for $100. Much easier to conceal and I have +2 magguts kit out for 14+1. I use the 17’s on the range.

Well said, thanks for sharing. I carry the Staccato CS (DLC barrel, Holosun 508T w/a Surefire light) everyday and the Sig Sauer 365XL Spectre Comp (w/ a Holosun 507 and Surefire Lite) as home defense. Both are gems and very accurate.

At the end of the day whats matter is you're level of training the gun is just a tool no matter if is a 500dlls gun or a 3000 thousand dollar gun every thing is up to the operator nice video👍

I love the 'Maraca test' at 8:56, hahaha-I do the same. To be fair to the SIG P365, the AXG Legion, and the Spectre Comp were better comparable variations than the X-Macro TacOps. They offer superior slide serrations on the top and sides, enhanced recoil control, and a different trigger experience. This is especially noticeable and fairer when compared to a superior pistol like the Staccato CS.

I had a similar dilemma. My solution was a p365x slide and barrel with an Icarus macro grip module. I'd prefer to carry a c2 over a CS. The CS is a look at me gun but no one knows you have it.

@@MR.G-417 even shooting-wise? Remember that mine has the pmm comp with the icarus grip and slide, and a bunch of other mods (rmrcc, mcarbo trigger/spring kit, dps guide rod) only thing I really don't have is the sig armorer polish job

your a smart man so make whatever decision you see fit but be careful with those car safes. as far as i have seen they just slow down a determined person, and most thieves know once they see it what’s in it.

I carry the Sig p365 Tacops daily. Great firearm! No complaints. But I have to say that a Staccato is definitely the way to go if you can afford it!

Noted for next time. The Macro is smaller. Handgun Hero is a website you can use to compare grip sizes. That might help you get an appreciation for the differences.

I've heard a lot of people complain about quality issues with the sig X macro like the magazine's rusting and other parts internally rusting and doing some other weird shit... The guy was not trying to hate on the gun and he had only been carrying it for a couple of months he said it was extremely reliable but just didn't like how the finish was wearing off on the outside whatever coating they use I was surprised at how many issues he was having. I carried a G2 Taurus for like 3 years iwb in the slide (against my body) got rusted but that's it but I also live in Phoenix

Had my XL 3-4 years and carry in different situations even when sweaty. Not one piece of rust in sight. How you care for your guns may have something to do with it. Had my P320 5 years, no rust issues there either.

My Taurus G2 rusted a little bit along the slide but I live in Phoenix & the way I sweat that's to be expected but not too bad now I'm carrying my M&P 🛡️+ we'll see what happens. That's good you take good care of your guns. And he was just talking about the new X macro not the XL

@@honda116969 Yeah I noticed. Weird that the Macro would have an issue none of the others seem to have. But the one guy @sirawesome5auce said "P365 line" which meant all of them. I live near Houston, TX so its super humid and hot here as well. When I said care for, I don't mean baby them and clean after every range visit. I simply meant holstering it on you, putting in a safe place at home, and cleaning it a few times a year. Some folks never clean them, toss them into bins or damp places. IDK.

I'll stick with my M&P 🛡️+ with a 13&15 round magazine for the price the quality reliability & aftermarket support it's hard to go wrong... Couple Oz heavier & bigger than the smaller micro 9mm but helps it to shoot much better one of the best triggers out of the box & good enough capacity I got the 🛡️+ optics ready for $349+ tax & FFL 😊

So I’m just starting to get into the ccw world and I’m so torn between the 2. I’ve been saving for almost a year to pick up the CS yet I’m still on the fence. Idk why. Maybe it’s bc I can buy the Sig AND Glock 45, put $1k into both of them and still save a little money 🤷‍♂️ Firm believer of the buy now cry later though. Think I’m still going with the CS

Should compare striker fired to striker fired and hammer to hammer as for some people a striker fired pistol is not an option just as some wouldn’t consider a hammer fired pistol. Also they shoot differently

The video is very relevant to many of us. The Macro, P365 platform in general, is considered the gold standard for striker fired. If a shooter wants better, or in my case a larger that isn't as long as the Macro, they need to go to the 2011 platform.

All of C&H adapter plates say they are for the DUO. Is that the same cut in the slide as on the CS ?

The heros deal usually gets you 6 mags and the optics mount. The CS was not available for the hero’s deal. Also there is a massive wait going that way. Dawson had it to my door in 10 days!

And you have to talk to people in a normal category that can afford guns around $600 in below not guns that are $1,000 and $2,500 bucks that's just insane that's about 3-5% of people that concealed carry are going to spend 💰 like that on a CCW pistol

Ill stick with glock im just not good with sigs warranty and stacato is a safe queen because price point . Just remember after a shooting your gonna loose that gun and if its a stac it will most likely come up missing in evidence room happens all the time .

My stac cs is no safe Queen, I carry it everyday. As far as loosing your gun, isn’t your life worth it? Also as someone who has gotten into a gun fight, it takes years to adjudicate the case, then you may depending on state law get it back. As the saying goes, if I have to get in a gunfight I want to cheat and win.

2011s aren't as reliable, and need cleaned and lubed more often. I carry an HK VP9, but just bought a family member a Macro comp, with a RomeoX Compact, and a Foxtrot 2R.

You haven't watched the testing on the Staccato's, and other 2011's, have you? I have a P365X and an M18 and plan on making a Staccato my next carry. They are extremely reliable. One holster company does a 3000 rd burn in 1 day and it ran without needing cleaning.

Not all of us though in general accurate. I'm a Sig fan and run both of mine through multiple EDC courses. I would give both of mine for the CS, C2 or P. Honestly plan on selling my M18 to throw toward one of these. Waiting for the new C to come out. @@honeybeartactical
