EDCO FF Gomez 420 - San Diego Downtown Recycle

Lemon Grove yard has some pretty cool trucks that run on Saturday, but during the week, most all of the trucks make an appearance. Knowing this, I went to the yard one Monday having my eye on EDCO's Heil or FF Gomez front loader. The Heil already left the yard but I saw this FFG leave so I decided instead of waiting, just follow it to route in downtown. I haven't filmed commercial in downtown before this but it was cool seeing all the places where businesses store dumpsters, most notably, the hotel that stores a 3yd inside that has to be rolled through the hallway corridor and double doors. Notice the wet floor sign that was rigged into a doorstop. Most stops in the early AM are carted and as the route moves further east, dumpsters become more common. During the week, this is the drivers regular truck but on Saturdays he drives a newer ACX McNeilus. Filmed October 2021.

Def one of the greatest San Diego uploads of all time. This route is notorious among drivers but I never took the time to go down there and see it for myself. It is cool to see all my high school hangout spots get picked up at night haha

One of my favorite things about SD commercial is the carted collection. That never gets boring for me. Love the scenery out there too. Awesome video!

I saw this truck do my dumpsters on thursday like 2 years ago and I have seen these On the Miramar landfill live camera if you know what it is also Does this truck have a Tuesday route?

I'd assume it still runs downtown on Tuesday
