Not sure about how they were actually born but when it comes to them being born connected i have a bit of an idea, might be from some kind of rare birth mutation between a dog and cat. There is a mutation that can happen when someone is pregnant with twins where the two twins are born connected to each other and even share a couple organs, aka conjoined twins. Catdog might most likely have been born with that kind of mutation or at least something similar to it

@@VGamingJunkieVT if we’re going by real word logic, if they’re unable to be separated then the other would die quite quickly. As the parts of the body belonging to the other would start to decay and damage their body too. It’s also possible they could just die of a broken heart. Often with older couples when one dies the other follows shortly after because they just are too heartbroken to continue living and their body just kinda gives up. In the case of famous conjoined twins Chang and Eng even though they had barely any shared body parts, when Chang died, Eng died hours later. He reportedly died of shock after finding his brother dead.

The thing that seems really consistent is that stuff going in one mouth can come out the other looking at how the digestive track is handled seems like the stomach has two entries and they have some control on just passing it by. You mean the fourth theory? It depends of how twins are conjoined, not all conjoinments affect the digestive system. There are cases of two-torso conjoinments, but they are side by side and still have a butt. I don't think a CatDog situation, with the torsos connected at their bottoms, has ever showed up in real life.
