When it comes to grip strength these guys are one in couple of millions... while Brian is The One.

brian has the biggest hands which definelty helps here, the bigger your hand the more surface area you have in contact with the weight and that means the psi you have to exert to successfully lift the weight is spread out more over the larger hand meaning the force you exert is used more effectively so you can exert more grip than a person with a smaller hand while expending less energy or needing as much strength, it is also easier on the hands

I gotta give it to Nick. He is a beast. Hes a little older, not as tall, or quite as "big". But, he is literally competitive with 2 of the worlds strongest men, and all of them record breakers. What I really like about Nick is his investment in strength. He comes from the "old school" where strength and power were the goal, not just looking good in a mirror. He actually got sad if he couldn't execute any particular feat of strength during The Strongest Men in History "feature" for History Channel. Nick is physically invested, emotionally invested, and a large portion of his identity is as a high level competitive stremgth athlete. Sorry to drone on my "man crush". haha. I just really tappreciate when people fully dedicate themselves to somethung infinitely challenging and continue to strive for success, way beyond where most people shut it down. I like all of these dudes and they are all invested. Nick just has had more time in the game to show his commitment. We'll see where the others land in another 10 years. I like Obie and Eddie, but I can honestly see eitber or both slowly exiting the strong man world in search of the next challenge.

As a skinny runner guy, I think it'd be really interesting to see someone like me on this channel. Brian just gripped almost my max bench press. It would really put into perspective just how strong these dudes are. And you don't have to put the skinny guys down too much, you could always race a mile to balance out the humiliation 😄

Not sure if you’ve seen the tv show they did, but they had “an average man” that was the boom operator small frame slender guy try to move some of the weight they were.
