The ufc is the ufc, some cross over fights are fine, its just that the media goes nuts for a week at one sniff of a crossover e.g Francis v Tyson and Canelo v Usman. But its not really affecting the UFC, only conor did that with his 2 year hold up of lightweight.

I'm a huge mma and boxing fan and one thing I'll say about this is that mma fans tend to be overly confident that the mma guy beats boxing guy easily in mma, when both have happened. Boxing guys have had success in mma and vice versa there is no need to be so sure as you do not know till it happens especially in mma. Put the mma guy in a boxing ring he most likely loses, boxing guy can actually have an ok chance if able to defend a takedown and every round starts on feet 👍 not tryna argue with anyone just my 2 cents but the money is just not there to do it that way so it goes to the boxing ring and the mma guy most likely loses, not too hard to comprehend imo.

He really could, what people don't understand is that certain clauses can be put into contracts like no takedowns, kicks, ect. Which will most likely happen if any boxing star like canelo or fury were to ever cross over to the ufc for a exhibition fight. Usman or whoever would most likely agree to it as well since they know they'll get the payday of their lives.
